"Yesterday I had a lot of VR on Besançon. At noon, the memory of a good meal on the terrace suggested that I return to La Truite de la Loue. Again, this lunch was a pure wonder. The house with 2 compotes is sublime (I loved the red onion compote); and the beautiful trout of a perfect kitchen as well as its accompaniment of Dauphinois gratin, small grilled tomatoes and fresh vegetable garden. The superb dessert presentation and its quality finished this meal. It is necessary to add an ideal setting, and the extreme kindness of Cathy and Vincent. Really, I had a pure moment of happiness. Thank you."

Excellent stay, very careful and copious cuisine (delicious forest crust and surprising crème brûlée). The only downside is the clientele... 2 cantankerous, unbalanced or perhaps dishonest couples (or a mixture of all that) we saw them preparing to complain from the moment they arrived in the evening (it was as comical as it was grotesque) until breakfast or the bread to be sliced was not sliced the hot drink was not hot, nothing had any taste etc etc etc... a real sketch as sad as it is pathetic...
