"Did not book went for a lovely evening meal. They had no trouble accommodating us, despite being well booked for the Saturday evening service. It’s Abarbistro, and as such drinkers, mostly quite young, were also present, but they didn’t really cause any problem. In fact, they’re quite entertaining to watch and listen to! The food was served quickly and was tasty and well presented. The service from the young, waiting on staff was exemplary. Really enjoyed visiting and the surroundings which were bright modern and clean. Our food was tasty and generous in proportions considering the price in the £15-£20 range."

"This was the first night out my husband and I have had together in three years, and NuMber 9 exceeded our expectations. The tapas-style dishes with an Asian twist were fantastic. We especially loved the spicy nduja-filled burrata and the salt and pepper squid. We will definitely return!"

"Short version: Lovely staff, nice food been a couple of times now and will happily return! Long version: we went for my father's in law birthday and they really couldn't do enough to help. They picked a table for us that made accessibility easy, very attentive and lovely staff. The food is good and tasty and they gave him a piece of birthday cake! One slight complaint is that it was very hot inside making it slightly uncomfortable but manageable. Would recommend the highwayman to anyone looking for decent pic grub"
