Takeaway, quite frankly the worst Chinese I have had in my LIFE! mushrooms were off to the point of being rotten, just awful. NEVER again!

Moved to Plymouth from North Devon over a year ago and been really disappointed with the standard of Chinese takeaways until finding Jasmins. Wife had sweet and sour prawns Cantonese style and I had the crispy shredded beef. Both absolutely outstanding. Will be collecting from here from now on.

Absolutely disgusting over prices for starters, nearly 4 pounds for prawn crackers what? The special fried rice and meat was saturated in water? And the barbecue sauce was like tar and like jelly . One mouthful and in the bin . Waste of money and I'd rather pay the extra in fuel to go to plymouth from now on.

This is by far the best Chinese restaurant in the area! A friend and I dined in and were blown away by the delicious food. The lamb was incredibly tender and everything was beautifully presented. While it is a bit on the expensive side compared to other local Chinese restaurants, it is totally worth it. The staff were all very kind and attentive. Just a heads up, they only accept cash. This Chinese meal was one of the worst I have ever spent money on. Both rice dishes were flavorless and mushy, and the sweet and sour chicken was just decent. We didn't even have any rice to pair it with, so we had to throw it all away. I arrived on time for my collection order, but by the time I got home after a 10-minute drive, the food was lukewarm. It has been over a year since my last takeaway from this restaurant, and unfortunately, the quality has not improved since then.

The family chose Jasmins for my grandaughters birthday meal. We chose the all you can eat option which offers great value, with children under 10 at 50% of adult pricing. Staff brought over a large selection of starters to begin the meal and then our selections of main dishes and side dishes. 10 of us all shared the various dishes which provided a lot of variety and choice all of which were very enjoyable. The available time for the meal is 2 hours and once eaten you may order additional dishes should you feel the need. We didn 't as there was plenty of food for all. A choice of either coffee or ice cream is available for desert. A nice evening with nice food and good value.

There are mixed feelings about this restaurant. They offer two menus, a fixed price 3-course menu and an à la carte menu. They do not like to mix the two on the same table, so we had to ask permission from the owner. Six of us had the fixed menu, and while the starters were fine, the main course options were very limited. I had to ask permission to have the meat, rice, and mixed vegetables, and assure the owner that I would finish it all. You can get a second helping if you finish the first, but service is slow so we ended up being there for 3 1/2 hours.
