Ate here and had a good meal. Food was very nice, but service was slow, atmosphere a little quiet and a bit pricey. I would visit again given limited choice locally, but not my first choice.

Vleesgerecht was zonder meer uitstekend. Vlees rosé gebakken, heerlijke saus, lekker lokaal biertje. Mijn vrouw had tortellini met spinazie. Ook al voortreffelijk. Locatie ook prima, rustig buiten zitten aan lokale wandelstraat. Aanrader!

Zum wiederholten Mal war es ein sehr schöner Abend beim Lieblingsitaliener. Die Gerichte der Tageskarte sind sehr zu empfehlen, aber auch die Pizzen der Karte sind super lecker. Dazu kommt noch die große Auswahl an sehr guten Weinen und die netten Betreiber und Angestellten. Ich komme wieder!

"La Fattoria" besticht mit tollen Tagesempfehlungen! Wir kommen regelmäßig und sind nie enttäuscht. Der Service ist spitze und wir werden auch bzgl. der Weinauswahl immer kompetent beraten. Wir waren auch zu einem Hochzeitsempfang (super Amuse-bouches-Auswahl) und einer Taufe im kleinen Kreis hier essen. Nur zu empfehlen!

Regelmäßig wöchentlich sind wir hier und fühlen uns immer "a casa" - Essen, Weine, Service und Ambiente sowieso sind immer allererste Sahne ... und das sempre sempre seit 22 Jahren.- Am Freitag 12.05. 2017 haben wir mal wieder ein Überraschungsmenü bestellt - vom Allerfeinsten und mitten in Italien sehr sehr authentisch angekommen ;-)Die Weinempfehlungen (it.) muss man definitiv lange suchen - einfach ein Hochgenuss!!! It has been years since I have eaten here but as I recall, the food was great and the ambiance was very romantic. Idstein is a very lovely village with a lot of half-timbered houses without a great deal of tourists. I recommend the 3 noodle special. Each noodle, ravioli, tortellini, and rigatoni, comes with its own sauce served on the side. What a great combination. For anyone traveling near Frankfurt and/or Wiesbaden, I really recommend making a detour to Idstein and having dinner here.

Ristorante italiano nella media, piatti semplici, nulla di speciale. La fregatura arriva al momento del conto quando, come per magia, le transazioni con carta di credito vengono tutte declinate. Motivo? Chiaramente quello di non emettere uno scontrino fiscale: il primo report è infatti il classico scontrino non fiscale che, in caso di pagamento con carta, automaticamente dovrebbe essere convertito in scontrino fiscale...e qui arriva la fregatura! Si è costretti a pagare contanti e così l'unica ricevuta che ti resta è quel famoso report non fiscale...un pò di NERO, anche in Germania, non guasta mai. Questa è la logica della proprietà. We live in Idstein and have visited this Restaurant a few times over the years. Last night was a perfect example of the terrible service we have received every time. Firstly the restaurant was not very full and most of the guests either were already eating or were finished enjoying drinks and conversation. We sat at a table pretty much central and waited 20 min until a snippy waitress offered to take our drink order, we stated that we would also like to order food since we already knew what we wanted. She denied this stating that the food would take awhile anyways. We ordered drinks incl. a alcohol free beer for the designated driver. The drinks took 20 minutes for two wines and two beers. B...
