"This was our fourth visit to La Petite Chaise. It was our favorite Paris restaurant. We brought two of our dearest friends. Unfortunately, last night’s experience left us sad and disappointed. Lamb and chicken were on the menu but were unavailable. The canard arrived cold. The entrecôte had too much pepper and was very fatty. A huge disappointment was an error on our wine charge. We ordered a Mersault which was 65 euros on the menu, only to discover we were charged 165 euros after returning to our hotel. I don’t know if we were served a different bottle than ordered, without telling us, or if it was just an error on your part. Although the Pavlova was the best I’ve ever had, the rest of the experience made us feel we will not return. We have learned that the restaurant was taken over by a new owner. La Petite Chaise has a big reputation to live up to. I hope he makes some major changes to return it to what it was. Please address the 100 euro overcharge on the wine."
