After a last minute decision to extend a stay in France, we stumbled across the beautiful village of Jumieges. Delightful small village, limited restaurants and eateries. Auberge des Ruines presents itself as a premium restaurant, however do not be fooled by appearances. The staff are completely rude and condescending, the food is mediocre at best and well Over priced for what it is. This is most definitely NOT a family restaurant. Asking about children’s options McDonalds is recommended. Emailing complaints to the owner results in limited response, then blatant avoidance of any correspondence.
