"After being let down on a reservation the heavens opened in chinon and trying to find a restaurant in chinon became a nightmare-we finally opted for this traditional brasserie and were pleasantly surprised by our experience-the people were very accommodating and we chose coté de boeuf between the two of us-This was good simple food at a really good price!"

Visited the Café de la Paix on a Monday night for dinner. Food prices are reasonable for the location, although the drinks did seem a bit pricey. We were served quickly and the food was very nice (we had burgers and the chicken dish). We can not fault the service as the waiter was extremely pleasant. Would recommend.
