"after over a decade to visit again in wissembourg. Unfortunately, this was local where I actually wanted to go, closed in the evening, so I chose "au petit dominicain". you speak French and German, very pleasant! I chose shrimpscocktail on avocado and a chicken in the many, from which I only see when it was the whole chicken. wow! but it was a small, delicate chicken, so I had to think again if I don't want to be more ordained when I saw the upwardly stretched wing. the thought did not last long, because I had hunger and had been waiting for the chicken for more than 45 minutes. it was tender, well seasoned and excellent. Unfortunately, the pommes were too hot, too greasy and tasteless not so culinary, so I had to leave them standing. but the red wine from the region devastated for everything. he was excellent, 14.5% and very pleasant in the finish, so that two bottles had to be picked up immediately. highly recommended as always everything in wissembourg! always worth a trip!"

"We tested this restaurant which, according to some, was worth the detour.We were disappointed. we took the menu at 54 €/person and frankly the dishes were good, but the kitchen without research. with the meat, the accompaniment was a triangle of polenta on which an apple was placed with its red fruits, a spoon of celery purée and a chaplain with mushrooms. I mean, it's really any. It was missing more than the fagot of green beans! dessert had been announced as a sample of mignardises... it was actually a basic gourmet coffee without coffee! a mistled cream a little liquid, a banana ice ball on a little pie, a mini financier of the size of the first phalange of the little finger, a little something with salty butter caramel and a small sand (size of a piece of €2) on which was laid a small tip of chocolate mousse.As for the wine, we took a new castle from the pope to €48, it was not done at all. The chablis was too expensive as well. In summary, we think that the price of this menu would be more just at 28-30 €, the price we paid is not justified. a this amount, we can hope to get out of the table with a memory of something striking. We won't go back to this restaurant. Maybe we were too much illusion?"

"We fell by chance on this inn.... very good dish of the day on the sunny terrace ....but the summum was this charming lady who welcomed us and served us!!! It's Colette and she's TOP!! A rare kindness and helpfulness of today!!! And it's for her that we'll come back one day! Our little girl works in Limbach, so it will happen again...... although it's a little far from Saverne!! Thanks to Colette for leaving us such a good memory"

"The four stars are due to the Google system, because I can 't enter 4.5. It 's a shame, a bit of precision is lost and you inevitably do the restaurant an injustice. “During the week” there is an extremely inexpensive Menu Bistrot for €25. For the Germans in words: FÜFUNDZWANZIG. Three gears! Here you can get a rump steak without any side dishes... My wife and I had all variations, the photos are just my dishes. Starter: Fresh rump steak tartare in a generous portion, very delicately seasoned with Moutarde à l 'ancien and plenty of capers perfect. Main course Morel crusted chicken breast with French fries. You notice the price and the economic constraints, the crust would of course have been much tastier with fresh morels (in May... but let 's leave that alone). The meat was prepared to perfection, not a bit dry or fibrous. Nowadays, dessert would probably be described as a chocolate brownie with a liquid center. Served lukewarm. 1 liter bottle of sparkling water for €5, piconbière for €4 that 's again inexpensive. Wine list purely French, but covering the most important regions. Calculation fair, the wines are fine. But for something really good you can expect around €40. At some point the landlord has to earn something! It 's unimaginable to see something like this served in a tourist hotspot on the banks of the Lauter. The terraces are less attractive than the indoor bridge over the Lauter you can hardly see any of the idyllic sight."

"arrived to eat an ice we ask for the map after almost 10 minutes waiting. Either.We are given the card by specifying that only the meatballs and coffee and chocolate are still made. Okay, no worries. In a minute it's chosen but the server isn't coming back. after another 10 minutes of waiting we ask to order and we are told that they no longer serve that they will close. What a politeness! We're done. We'll eat our ice cream somewhere else."
