Tried to get some drinks without food turned away despite restaurant being empty! Went to 3 brasseurs and ended up eating and drinking as they were so welcoming and Nice

I went over to France for the day with my family aswell as going into Belgium. We stopped at Cité Europe to do shopping and ended up stoping at Le Comptoir du Malt, the food was a amazing aswell as the service. Could not fault...the waitress not to mention all the different beers and drinks they served. Overall it was very nice and definitely go again soon.

We often go to a restaurant close by, but as this visit was for two nights decided to try this establishment as well. It was very acceptable, two of us had the formulae menu and it was good value and tasty. The omelette and burger...purchased by our party was of a very good standard. Ate here before getting the Eurotunnel home. Waited an eternity to be served. Ordered Pepsi, none on tap. I had a burger which to be fair was very good, but my partners meal was terrible. Beef was hard and inedible. My stepdaughter ordered a wrap...which arrived after the rest of us had finished our meals. Meals came with unlimited veg or chips but daren't ask for more as service was slow. Would not recommend.

service is good, only the kitchen is not good. Strange for such a big chain...I order a welsh. My partner is a burger. until then the evening is very good. only here, the surprise was huge when my dish is in front of my eyes. a welsh with shades of green. Never seen that. the cheddar in the fat. cooked with oil probably. Elastic cheese. cooking was certainly not well done. the purpose of this comment is to change the way to realize the welsh. for sincerely this was not worthy of you.

It was a first time for us in this restaurant and it will be the only time. to finally take order, later we were told that the dishes were waiting while we had specified that they could launch them as soon as possible. cold dishes, we ask for mayonnaise and bread for the little one, after always nothing, I had to get up to make the request again, I waited min to ask once, and again to have it. we ask for the ice included in the child menu and the addition at the same time, still no ball ice) we decide to get up for the addition, the servers have never been so fast, can they be afraid that we leave without paying?
