Le Hall - Piatti

This is a restaurant in the middel of the old townI saw a guy eating a salad nicoise the other day and decided that I wanted that as well.

It's a good idea but the execution could be better. The owners are really nice and trying really hard. Unfortunately wouldn't recommend it.

Really no good to have a booking confirmed to a closed restaurant. On the website the restaurant was also confirmed to be open and when calling only an answering machine was to be reached ????

Stumbled on this place as it was just starting to rain. Good front of the house. Unusual menu where you can each pick your starter but you share the main. Makes for good value. Menu includes foie gras for less than 15Eur per head!

We went as a party of 3 for an late evening dinner. Le Hall is located in the old town of Nice where you have a lot to choose from. Fair prices and tasty food. Rustic style waiters gives the place an informal touch. We had tuna, burger and a Steak. The burger held American standard, but the bread could be more exiting. Steak was good and so the tuna. After reading some good reviews on tripadvisor we were left disappointed by our visit here. My boyfriend ordered beef fajitas and got chicken instead, although tasted ok. I ordered a hamburger and asked for it to be cooked well done, however once it was served very rare/almost raw.The staff we very helpful in rectifying the mistakes and I was really glad to have a very good gluten free bun. The cheese board selection was very good too!

Following a recommendation on a Facebook group for coeliacs, I thought I'd give this place a try. They have a board outside advertising a gluten free (and dairy free) meal for just €20, which was a gluten free burger (and bun!) followed by a chocolate mousse. The food was excellent and massively surpassed my expectations. The service was friendly, they had some fun pop music on inside and all in all, it was a great experience. I'd definitely recommend.

Came here for dinner one night, booked through the Fork as this offered us 50% off food if we had at least a starter and a main (although the restaurant also had a set menu which looked like quite a good deal). The food is a mix of mostly Asian with a French twist. Flavours were good and the service very friendly. The only thing I was missing was a little bit of spice in my Beef Udon, but that's personal taste.PS: If I would have had to pay full price, I might not have rated it 4/5 but at 50% off it was very good value for money.
