This was my second time staying in Boulogne-Billancourt and Jean-Baptiste is one of my favorite places to visit. The service is friendly and efficient. All of the servers make a special effort to speak English and understand my very bad French. The food is lovely and the atmosphere could not be better. Hope to return soon.

Le Jean Baptiste était quasiment un QG pour nous, depuis des années.Hélas, force est de constater depuis quelques semaines que le service est nettement en baisse, désinvolte et oublieux de ce qu'on lui demande, et la cuisine aussi.Peut-être juste une mauvaise passe, à moins qu'il ne s'agisse d'un changement de fond vers le médiocre ? Dommage.

Cliente de longue date, je commence à trouver que les réservations sont souvent du n'importe quoi. A l'arrivée, on ne retrouve pas vos réservations et on vous trouve, et ce n'est pas la première fois, une table près des toilettes et dans le noir, il faut allumer nos lampes du téléphone pour pouvoir lire le menu. The waiter was rude on multiple occasions. We ordered a mixed charcuterie platter (cheese and charcuterie). The waiter started being agressive and told us that he wasn’t dumb, only because we asked him questions about the platter and how big it was. I don’t know how he took it the wrong way but anyway. Then the platter arrive with only 2 slices of cheese. We tried to explain that we ordered a mixed platter because some of us didn’t eat meat. Again, started yelling again saying « so do you wanna cancel » So I said yes… we finished our drinks, paid and went to another spot to eat

We opted to go inside to avoid the.hot sun that day and were quickly shown to a table. Our waitress was prompt and efficient at first, but her service soon slacked off after customers began to fill the pleasant space. I opted for chicken breast with penne and mushrooms.
