Top notch welcome. Taken care of by the assistant butler then service perfectly followed by the head waiter. Very nice Entrecôte (fries to review), dessert at the top. We had a dinner in here while staying in this hotel. The atmosphere was very nice (I love the decor), the food was good (I would have loved more seafood choice in the menu thought), the cocktails were too expensive comparing to the food price, but on the other side particularly good. But finally people serving us were super nice. I was appreciating this even more, as same day I had my worst life experience regarding restaurant attitude in another place. So overall this dinner saved the day.

Having given this restaurant to a friend for his 30th birthday, I noticed that apart from the particularly sumptuous location, neither the cuisine nor the service were up to par. No advice on wine (nor a desire to seek out information), waiting times of more than 25 minutes between each course, errors in orders, bland accompaniments (despite very good fish and meat quality). The bill is very steep for the level of demands of this restaurant. Lots of window dressing and a serious disappointment for lovers of the region, which is so rich in specialties.

Very bad! We are really far from the quality of Normandy. I asked for medium-rare meat which arrived well cooked. The chef dares to claim that his cooking error is my personal opinion. The butter used for cooking did not taste like fresh cooking at all, the green beans were extremely oily and too salty. My husband and I having ordered the entrecôte we did not even have the same boards. Inedible, we obviously haven’t finished with dessert! To conclude, we were offered a ticket for two glasses of champagne to drink at the casino which we kindly refused. Fortunately, the manager Ludovic took the time after all that to listen to us to try to remedy this catastrophic situation.
