"I introduced a booking for people were children) and a baby in a child car. asked to pay a non-refundable payment than we in the restaurant the members were immediately stopped by what seemed to be the manager who had claimed the pram...not explained and argued that it was not in the notaries! first, this man has to accept mistakes on his own personal part, as we regularly dine as a large family and I always mention this point. the table was long and there was a space without a chair so that the child car could easily have gone there, but he did not have it because of covid and it was not fair on other diners. we were then asked to wait another half an hour while they were sorting another table, but soon solved the problem by taking a table away so that the pram could go at the end. he said someone had canceled. yes, right! truth is that I have always rated this restaurant, but I hate to say that this was not the best experience. we felt hurried and was overloaded, oh and they added service to all bills, so I asked them immediately to remove this as it was about lizhi please try to clean on their customer service skills and welcome children whatever the age, because I personally do not think they are welcome!"

beautiful restaurant. perfect for the instagram photos. the food was nice and freshly cooked and the service was great and friendly. they love the fact that there are enough parking spaces and there is a separate bar area for some quiet drinks after our meals. we have. booked for the Chinese New Year and can not wait to go back.

We`ve been to Lizhi twice, once mid week and once at weekend. The midweek visit was quieter, service was quicker and the food was hot. The weekend visit the place was very busy, my husband`s rice was cold, my chow mein barely warm and for...the price they charge it simply wasn`t up to scratch. If we ever return then it won`t be on a weekend that`s for sure.

Food is ok but in my opinion over priced. We ordered the sharing salt and pepper platter to start, flavours were sickly and bland. I then ordered crispy shredded beef this was tough and the beef didn’t taste right. This was then sent back...and taken off the bill as it was inedible. For the same money you can eat in the Tun Fong in Worsley and the food there is consistently Will not be returning.

Two of us went for a midweek meal. The restaurant was very quiet but I know it gets busy at weekends. The staff were lovely and the food was probably the best Chinese food I have ever had. The ribs melted in your mouth. The...price however was very much on the high side and I would only go back on a special occasion. We had one starter to share two main dishes one rice and a couple of drinks and it was plus.

Slight delay at check in, ignored for a few minutes then told to “help ourselves” and pointed towards waiting area. About mins before drinks order taken. Food was good and nice atmosphere . Waiter asked if everything was ok but never stayed long enough...to find out. None of this a major issue and normally not worth mentioning except was added to our bill couple as a service charge ! Waiter laughed it off . Next table complained that mains were charged twice So lovely place with good food but check the bill !

we went here as a family of four had the banquet that we also drank, and the bill was beyond when we came back to the car, there was a parking card on my window screen, as... apparently we had parked on private property, which was in fact the street to the restaurant, when the main parking was full and we had the late situation it had accused us so that it was so that we had complained. so all in all, including the ticket the meal round there are no chinese worth that . I have contact with lizhi over the parking card that just replied to the parking is nothing to do with them.

We booked for our daughters birthday meal, I can understand why restaurants are requesting deposits given the return from restrictions which want a major concern to be honest. On arrival the service was attentive Ave the food was delicious and plentiful, the reason not is the communication. Put simply we received our appetisers in good time however the main course took quite a while to come out, there was a large party being served but this shouldn’t stop the team from letting us know there may be a slight delay. Communication is key, having said that it won’t deter us from going again just a minor observation.

Where do I begin, venue it’s very glamours, it’s reflected in the price, sadly not matched by the standard of food. Starters were okay, Salt and Pepper ribs, tasty to be fair as were spring rolls, my partners chicken was over cooked and dry. On...to the mains and the real issues, Sizzling Rib Eye Beef, bland, no taste and extremely disappointing. My partner had the seafood platter, well the prawn, scallop and a bucket full of noodles platter. Again bland, no taste and extremely underwhelming. Lighting in the restaurant is strange, gives you a headache and the chairs are low down so if you’ve got mobility issues or a bad back, be aware. The staff were okay, not overly attentive but no real is...

so we started by explaining in the restaurant and the manager that his ipad did not tell him we had a buggy, although this confirmed during booking. when we offered to put baby at the end of the table, he said no and asked the month old baby to go in a high chair. he then explained that it would not be fair to other customers, baby at the end of the table because of kovid. he accused us and was very rude. we then ordered to start and we ate, in the average. we then demanded mins in front of the net and the coworker said he would confirm with the manager that they both stood above the table and spoke in Chinese (again) and did not say mins, although we still had hours and mins on the table to...

"After reading the reviews we was really looking forward to eating here ,however it turned out to be the worst tapas and worst service we have ever received . After waiting 10 minutes for someone to take our drinks order we then waited a further 30 mins to be served with what can only be described as toast with tasteless mushed up tomatoes on , this was inedible and hardly touched , a further 20 minutes on and we was served a single dish of chicken between two of us again this was very bland and resembled nothing like a original tapas dish more like a chicken korma again this was hardly touched . When I enquired as to where the rest of the food was I was told they was very busy . With this we decided to cut our loses and asked for the bill . Before leaving we tried to have a conversation with the manager who is also the chef to give some honest feedback ,however he wasn’t open to listening , he’s response was “it’s normal in a tapas restaurant to receive one dish at a time between two with a large gap between dishes wasn’t it explained to you that’s what tapas is “We felt this was a very patronising remark as we eat tapas on a regular basis and know this is definitely not the case . To matters worse there was people who came in after us with multiple plates and tucking in nicely to their meals . The manager who was obviously struggling to cope on a busy Saturday night should have just apologised and admitted our order had been overlooked . If you are looking for authentic Tapas with excellent service in Wigan go to Casa Carlos this place doesn’t deserve your hard earned money ."
