"We ordered the early bird menu. Very bad quality. Chicken uneatable.chewy in your mouth and Hard to cut. When I told the owner, his answer was giving me a sharpener knife, which I found very rude and when I told him that chicken was not fresh he denied it (same thing with the chicken inside pancake for the starter which tasted bad). That chicken was not well defrosted before being cooked...the boiled potatoes in the goulash would also have needed a sharpener knife to cut them. Disappointed at the quality of the food and the treat. Important: YOU CANNOT PAY WITH CREDIT CARD. Unbelievable... won't be back. Poor quality of food. It was not fresh. When I complained to the owner about how tough the chicken was when splitting it and the impossibility of chewing it, it balled up in my mouth, his solution was to bring me a sharper knife and not admit that the chicken was not fresh and had not defrosted well . It seemed to me a lack of education. He laughed in my face with his solution and I went without dinner, but he charged us for absolutely everything. The goulash boiled potatoes were also hard, not cooked. But I didn't say anything because I didn't feel like having another serrated knife brought to the table and gathering the cutlery on my table. The chicken in the starter crepe tasted bad, it was from a few days ago, if you add a lot of tomato it hides it. Important: you can only pay in cash. So even if it seems strange, take money with you if you don't want to be surprised by wanting to pay with a card and find yourself with the surprise..."

Ribeye was pretty bad. Not sure where it was sourced but had no flavour at all. Nut even seasoned to compensate. Also not cooked enough to learn up the connective tissue in the meat. It was pretty rare, which I don't mind fur an appropriate cut, but this one needed more imo. Potatoes were nice with it and the veg was ok. Not much veg though. Over all, way too expensive for what was served up. And the beef was poor.

Me and my partner went for an evening meal, i went for the 12.95 menu, homemade soup was looovely and also my goulash was perfectly cooked. The menu includes dessert or coffee also!!!! My partner had the 22.95 steak menu, a very nice pancake filled with chicken and creamy sauce followed by a fillet steak with lovely new potatoes and a pepper sauce and a very nice orange cake!! Overall we had a very tasty meal and the service was fabulous! We will defo be returning!!!

As a group of 6 (3 adults 3 kids) we turned up to a young female member of staff at the door who didn 't greet us, she just said booking? We had booked and were shown to our table.... Still no smiles etc.... Once at out table another older female came over with an equally sullen face and simply said drinks ? When I asked where the drinks are on the menu and could we have 5 mins to decide she rolled her eyes and said 'most people know when they come in '. It was at this point we left. I am absolutely appalled at the rudeness and will definitely not be giving them a second chance.

Not one to leave reviews often but I felt like I needed too after the service we recieved. We both asked for medium-well done steak and received after just over an hour two medium-rare looking steaks, with blood rushing out. A complete desert boot look-a-like. Small portion of vegetables and food was bland as anything. For what you pay, not worth it at all. After receiving the bland meal we had to pay an extra 2.50 for a pot of sauce to go with the steak which I thought already came with the meal. steak was already £19.95 Some of the staff were rude, passive agressive one in particular and another one who stared at you as if you was scum of the earth.. After our pudding very nice however ice...
