"enter what looks like a French bistro and enter a friendly room with great food. we found this place after the place we researched was unexpectedly closed for the day. a quick review of Google reviews suggested that this place should be...good and that was it! we were there in the middle of the afternoon, so there were only a few other occupied tables. the front room is very charming, with bistro tables and large glass windows with views of the pretty street. we sat in the back (not on the terrace). the seating was comfortable, the room intimate and yet bright, as windows look at the beautiful terrace. the menu was in German, but the very friendly and funny waitress assured us that she could help with the translation if we need help. the hot cake was so delicious. we ordered two, and both were great. they sold pretty decent wee at the glass. we had the excellent cream brulee for dessert, and it was a very fine delicious vanilla flavor, and great creamy consistency. there is an extensive menu, and it is amazing that they can offer so many different dishes at a place of this size. they surpassed our expectations, and we are so grateful for the friendly and friendly server that made the experience even better than it was. we would like to return."

Very nice inner yard, friendly service and good food, pretty much what we had wanted. Certainly one of the best restaurants in Potsdam.

Nice breakfast but the service was not completely friendly and even though the terrace was nice, the indoors was not entirely comfortable.

We both enjoyed delicious starters of oysters and tuna fish. Duck and entrecôte for mains and chocolate muse for dessert. Very friendly staff and they have a great romantic garden.

Second visit to this charming restaurant, friendly and helpful staff in a cozy atmosphere. The food is classic French cuisine, very well cooked and presented. The spicy pumpkin soup was delicious as well as the best char fish I have had in ages ! Strongly...recommend a visit to this hidden gem.

if in potsdam, go there! highly recommended. we had a starter, oysters, a head and a flame-cake. everything was made fresh and very tasty. the fish soup was also very beautiful! the waitress was friendly, linguistic and made a very good job! we're coming. back here and everyone should try this place! they will not regret it!

After wandering around for a bit looking for a place to stop we came upon Maison Charlotte. It was a bit hard to explain that we needed to see the menu before deciding to stay, but it all worked out. The asparagus-cheese Flammkuchen was out...of this world. Hot, gooey, crispy, and with the seasonal white asparagus that is so very delicious. Flammkuchen (all sorts) is one of their specialties don't miss it.

we visited maison charlotte for the first time four years ago and booked in this summer a table to dinner before our short holiday in potsdam. we have a table in the garden in the backyard and started with a charlotte splash and martini floreale while we. the menu examined. we chose the menu charlotte and were very satisfied. the restaurant understands how to use fresh products and twisted in French cuisine. the wine list offers them enough opportunities to choose moderate prices for more expensive weine. friendly and attentive service.
