Mansion, Wine - Menu

Went to Mansion for the first time In a while. Still a nice bar. Just needs some live singers or a DJ to get the people in. Nice place to go after a meal and relax.

Went to Emeralds official opening day. Everything was absolutely amazing. The food was delicious,the live singer was great and the atmosphere was spot on. Definitely coming back.

A slmall group of us popped into the Mansion, last week. They had a good selection of gins and some delicious fruit-based cocktails. Decor is good although, since it wasn;t the weekend, it was quiet

Went here on a Saturday and there was only my husband and I in the restaurant! Restaurant and toilets very cold! Luckily the food was excellent, fish and chips delicious, Mushrooms in blue cheese lovely! However there was no garlic bread, no cocktails til saw the waitress run over the road and come back with cream!

Refreshingly well presented and clean establishment, perhaps a little pricey but I guess they are aiming to keep out some types; can’t blame them really, no comment on food as didn’t eat, but looked good and no complaints heard from surrounding diners, service was prompt...and with a smile, can’t ask for more on a Tuesday at

Ok here goes, booked people for champagne breakfast for th birthday , room was freezing, food was appalling apart from the fried breakfast , everything else came out cold and not what was on the menu , i.e: eggs benedict surrounded by mushrooms and cold , the girls tried their hardest , were polite but were out of their depths when presenting and cooking a champagne breakfast. We did speak to the manager on the phone and get it down to pp from but they should stick to drinks , start of my celebrations not good

Excited to be going for a christmas party night which included a course meal and live music. We booked a booth the saturday before christmas via e mail. Noone seemed to be aware of our booking and when eventually it was sorted out we...were told that we couldnt eat in the booth. We accepted that but were then told that there was only a table of seven booked in but the chef usually made extra food so it should be ok for us to have some. We felt rushed with our drinks and decided not to stay there. The initial service of getting a drink was very slow altbough there were seemingly plenty of staff on. I wont be visiting this establishment again.

My friends and I booked the Ladies Night evening at Mansion as our Christmas night out this year. On arrival I noted that there was only two tables set up for dinner and that there were a lot of men in the bar area. I...assumed it was from a lunchtime booking so wasn't too bothered. However, when the table behind us arrived half the table were men. Don't get me wrong, it didn't cause any problems, but as the evening had been advertised as a Ladies night I really wasn't expecting men to be there as well. The location of our table was ok, we did get an occasional draft when the door opened but it wasn't that bad. The spot lights above our table were very bright and it actually showed how dirty...

We got a groupon deal to come here. I work in food service myself and am normally very lenient with service provision but the waitress that dealt with us was honestly the worst I have ever encountered. There was only my party of us)...and another table of two in the restaurant and the waitress was totally uninterested (sat on her phone at the bar for most of the time). She took the order wrong and we didn't all eat together as my sister had to wait for her meal, she dropped the other tables food all over the floor with no apology. She came over minutes after we had finished eating and asked if we wanted the bill (clearly trying to get rid) and we said no we'd like to look at desserts please....
