"I'd have to say to avoid this place at all costs. This was a business meal after a long day. They had written the wrong time down for our reservation but were sat down anyway. Not a great start. Drinks for came out a time and then odd and this drinks service was maintained throughout the night. Our bread and olives were bought out one portion at a time (the second just before the starters when we ordered of each. The wine glasses for the non wine drinkers were not cleared, a bit odd. They just cluttered the table as did old dishes until passed to staff. Starters took their time and were average. Nothing really special and I've eaten in dozens of pubs which offer better. A lesser point is the balsamic vinegar I took with my bread was one of the worst I have ever tasted in my life. Then a long delay for our mains. I mean long. Coupled with the fact they kept giving single shots when clearly being asked for doubles (we had to check the bill) plus more delays in receiving drinks. We literally thought about leaving at this point...mostly in jest but I was hangry even before we started. I would have left! The poor waiting staff couldn't keep up. I don't think it was their fault. the kitchen's and bar's fault. The mains, particularly the steaks, couldn't be recognised as they had all been covered in a brown sauce so looked all the same cut. were supposed to be plain and I have no idea why this sauce is put on the steak, probably to mask a poor cut as I scraped it off and tried to enjoy an extremely average piece of meat. We received a dish we didn't order, we again...had to check our bill to ensure we were not charged for it. We reckon we received someone elses. It wasn't even good! The overall meal took so long and hours!! we skipped desserts altogether as we just wanted to get to our respective beds. The bill was sizeable, but accurate at least. I was just so relieved I wasn't paying as I would have really kicked off and complained. I heard more complaints at the front desk about the hotel. I think the whole establishment needs a sorting out. quite frankly. I can't offer a redeeming feature about the meal. Everything was messed up. Oh, by the way, the place wasn't full either so they couldn't say they were overrun. I would have perferred a pizza express, or zizzis or a miller and carters or a nandos! You get my point."
