"we ate at the communal pint thanks to a good purchase on the qooking site. and it was a very nice discovery, the restaurant being totally unknown to me before. A modern, cozy decor, two separate parts, one brewery the other more gastronomic, one terrace. a very friendly welcome. We tasted the menu 8 dishes in agreement with 3 wines. The dishes are superb, whether for the eyes with a remarkable presentation and an original dishes but also for the nose with subtle fragrances and for the palate with tastes sought but harmonious. A mention for the sorbets, great chef's specialty, regularly added to the dishes and cleverly married. the tip of freshness was a plus, while it was about 34° outside. meat and fish cooking is controlled. We especially enjoyed the foie gras, its red and orange beet sorbet and the rhubarbe chutney - the low-temperature cooked poultry poultry with its high-pitched reduction - the summum was the apple poached with spices and its Breton biscuit, we add a little raw pistachio and a salty caramel butter and get a dream meal end. And I'm not a dessert lover. A single small flat for the carrot velvet and its fruit sorbet of passion, the velvety lacked peps. But it's just a personal opinion. A lovely service, with regular pace, the choice of wines was good with a beautiful Valais discovery (fin bec.) a very good price for the quality of the kitchen. We exchanged a few words with the chef, who does not hesitate to share his passion, without giving his secrets of course.A great gastronomic moment and a beautiful discovery in Aigle.Bravo and thank you."

"I'm 40 years old today and I discovered this steakhouse on this occasion. First of all, the service: smiling, efficient and friendly. Nothing to say except thank you and well done. Then the cuisine: the pan-fried foie gras as a starter with its passion fruit and coffee sauce is a pure delight. Then, the main course: the Meating, 250g of beef (for two people or more), with homemade butter and itou fries, a real treat. I finished my partner's portion at the risk of not being able to have dessert. What a mistake it had been! Their crème brûlée, served in a shallow but large plate, is worth a detour. In short, flawless as we would like to see more often."

"Nous sommes allés à 4 personnes manger la fondue à la viande (marinée aux herbes type anniviarde, ou glariarde pour les non connaisseurs). Terrasse quasi vide alors qu’une superbe soirée s’annonçait, c’est dommage. Nous avons super bien mangé la viande était d’une merveilleuse qualité, accompagnée d’un saladier de salades, de pdt rissolées et 3 sauces différentes. Rapport qualité prix incroyable également. Deux bouteilles de vin, apero, café dessert en sus pour moins de 80. par personne, nous y retournerons !"

"Stopped here for dinner after finding several local restaurants closed (presumably for the Swiss National Day?). A burger with fries and side salad was 25 Euro. A kid's meal of cold ham slices and fries was 10 Euro. Both were tasty and probably on par for prices in Switzerland. Soda is more expensive than beer. If you are trying to keep to a budget, I would recommend any of the hotel dinner buffets that probably provide more value for money. This restaurant filled up and there was no outdoor seating left by 1830 at night - inside is very hot because the fire is on. It would be cozy in the winter but in the summer, try to get a seat outside. The staff does not speak English and the menu is not in English - not a problem but just be forewarned that you will need to figure it out on your own if you don't speak French."

"Unusual to find a swimming pool restaurant with such excellent food. As we were pressed for time we just ordered one dish each: All 3 were excellent and freshly prepared: fried foie gras disguised as a hamburger, a copious salad with grilled goats cheese and wild mushrooms with puff pastry. Friendly staff. Terrace with views for good weather."
