Nico's Acropolis Taverna

My work colleagues and I recently attended a Frankie Valli Tribute Night at Nico's restaurant. We had such a fun night. Good food, good service and great music what more could you want!

We aren’t from the area and we’re just driving when we came across this restaurant. Quick check on trip advisor and had good ratings. Very friendly. Lovely mixture of food avail. Food was piping hot and very tasty. Loved the stifado.

Just had the most wonderful meal Service was beyond good Food as gorgeous as ever all 6 of us loved every course . Humongous portions Thank you for making my mums birthday so special Cannot compliment enough for food and wonderful service and for making my mum feel so special xx

Been going there for a lot of time on the Friday night ,most of the time I just booked it for my wife and my daughters to go and have a night out and watch Micheal Buble act , the food was ok, but mostly same all the time,and we had better dinner out,if it wasn't the entertainment,we won't goes there for the meals.

Went here early Saturday evening.parked car in a side road (30sec walk).As soon as we entered we were hit by lovely smell of Greek cuisine (just llike greek holidays)The restaurant is a fair size but has retained its imtimate feel.The hosts are very welcoming and friendly.The food was excellent,we had a meze (for 2 people),mixed grill and a chicken souvlaki....we could not eat all the food and we are fairly big eaters.The prices are reasonable but well worth it for the quality of food and portion sizes.we will definately return.

We were warmly welcomed by the lovely staff in which turned out to be a truly fantastic evening. It was Michael Buble tribute night and he was great entertainment. The food was such a surprise though,perfectly cooked fish presented quite beautifully. That goes for all three courses truth be told, even though I'm not sure how I managed the dessert as portion sizes are big. The service was impeccable and I can't wait to return again very soon to what is one of our loveliest local restaurants . I recommend wholeheartedly ... You will not be disappointed.

This was a birthday bask for Mum who was 84. We booked as we know there is usually a tribute act on Fridays, and this night it was Rod Stewart. One of the party had been before but for the rest of us we were Nico virgins.Having been to tribute nights before I was expecting a lot of pre-cooked, microwaved meals that made it easier for them to serve a lot of people, but this was all fresh and mainly cooked to order.The fish was nice, and the meat dishes were superb. Everyone loved the desserts.The service is good, the atmosphere great and the whole evening a success.

I live very local and have been to Nicos many times over the years. The food is always good and staff friendly, but PLEASE add to your menu. It has been the same old menu for years. In fact, it has got to the stage where if you 've visited this restaurant more thsn twice, you actually dont need to read the menu. I ate there a few months back and was treated to an extra 'specials ' menu. I had squid with chorizo, which was lovely, but have been to the restaurant twice since, with no additional specials. Please add again, as your menu now is predictable and becoming a little boring.

The menu on a music night is pretty boring and overpriced for what it is. We went along on a music night only to find the acts that perform can be seen at other venues in the area at much more reasonable rates and often with much better menu options. My advice if you want a good tribute night at a fair price and don't want to be overcharged is to check out Da Peppino, Welling, or Limoncello just up the road. The entertainment is as good as any in the area , in Particular The Michael Buble Duo we have seen at Da Peppino. Visit this venue when there isn't music on and the menu isn't extortionate ........
