"Very young staff who seemed to lack much experience in working within such an environment. Our booking when phoned through was noted on a scrap of paper and when the staff member was asked about it, he just shrugged his shoulders and said uh? . The menu is of the usual easy to cook and quickly to serve standard. The food did get served quickly however it looked better than it really tasted. Will I eat there again? No. . There are other establishments within easy walking of The Old Farmhouse which off far superior catering and service. It 's a shame Greene King, you missed the mark with this one."

The Monday special of rice with the mini-mix grill was nearly perfect, especially considering the price. Plus, the parking is ample and convenient. I will definitely be returning with friends soon!

Turned up to find out the kitchen was closed despite having a booking. The staff were helpful but were very young inexperienced. Glad we didn't have food as friends of ours got food poisoning. Wouldn't recommend here at all.

I spontaneously chose this place for a date night, and we were quickly seated. Our delightful young server, Libby, was very accommodating and friendly. The new decor looks fantastic and creates a light and cozy atmosphere. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5

The food and staff at this restaurant are great, and the place is very clean and welcoming. The only reason I'm giving it a 4-star review is that there was a very drunk man in the afternoon who got a bit out of control and made a scene on the TV. My little one heard some inappropriate comments he made. Additionally, an elderly lady nearby heard the commotion and came over to me with a disapproving smile, saying that children should be seen and not heard. I was stunned and shocked by the whole situation. Overall, it was a bit of a disappointing experience.
