"We had pleasure of another dining experience at Old Gatehouse and thoroughly enjoyed this visit. Service was spot on and Lindsey was so attentive and helpful. Our meals were piping hot and did not have to wait long for drinks and food to arrive on a busier Friday evening. Bacon and cheese burgers so tasty grilled to perfection. We would definitely recommend a visit as this is the best pub restaurant in the area. Great staff and cosy atmosphere in pleasant surroundings. Great food but omg the service is slow. Mains took 45 mins and dessert over 30 mins. Seems to be that they have all their staff on the bar and only one in the restaurant. Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4

Iain (I hope I spelled that correctly; my apologies if not) was incredible! He managed to fit the three of us and our dog, Roger, in for a quick dinner before the reservations started coming in. He was fantastic, and we all enjoyed steak—even Roger! We even found room for dessert! The food was great, the staff were wonderful, and everyone was really friendly. I can't wait to return!
