"We visited the restaurant at noon without a reservation and were informed we could sit anywhere except for one specific table. After being directed to a different table, we were then told we couldn't sit there either. Finally, we were seated in a dark corner with minimal space between us and the table behind. We were placed right next to a hot radiator and had to deal with a large metal leg that made it uncomfortable to sit. The waiter took our order, but one of our drinks was unavailable. We both ordered the chicken and mushroom pie with dauphinoise potatoes and seasonal vegetables. The service was quick, but when our meals arrived, the waiter asked if we wanted gravy, only to then inform us they didn't have any. The pie was delicious, although lacking in mushrooms. It would have been even better with gravy. The vegetables, tender stem broccoli and green beans, were far from tender and were cold. They were so difficult to cut that I couldn't even eat them. Overall, we were disappointed with the meal. While we have enjoyed their cream teas in the past, we will be avoiding their cooked meals in the future."

Took the two boys (8 10 for lunch at this rather quaint eccentric museum shop cafe celebration of glass. Great menu, loads kids different diets, plenty of decent vegan options. (I had mushroom linguine, yum! Nice kids play area with giant chess, tenpin bowling, climbing frame etc. Lovely facilities friendly staff. Ace. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch

I am blown away by this charming and relaxing restaurant! The food is absolutely fantastic, and I am very particular when it comes to the quality of food. The prices here are the most affordable you'll come across, and the desserts are not only delicious but also generously portioned. They have their own car park with hundreds of free spaces. The service is great, making it a perfect spot for a lovely dinner.
