"katastrophe! we had made a stop in ascona and wanted to bite a bit. the waitress offered us her self-made lasagne with Sicilian tomats etc. that sound great and we then order twice. a little salate she said and asked who we would like to dress with whom. because we had not asked for salat, that sounded for us as a spice of the lasagne, which is not unusual for a lunch. Moreover, the lasagne should cost 18 franc, so one could imagine that the salat was part of it. which came without exaggeration, the worst lasagne we had ever eaten! completely fade, no taste, boiled lasagne leaves, terrible. the salat was also finished from the bag and the dressing. of course the salate was calculated separately for 9 francs per serving! it's like always when they pay too much money for terrible bad eating, they really feel doubled! we really cannot recommend it!"

Die Bedienung war sehr schnell als auch freundlich. Das Essen war in Ordnung, aber wegen den hohen Bewertungen auf Tripadvisor hatten wir etwas mehr erwartet.

Typisches Strassen Cafe, beliebt zum Apero mit Knabbereien. Sehr flotter und freundlicher Service. Die Advisor Punkte kommen wohl von der Persönlichen Bedienung.

Die gute Bewertung ist unverdient. Der Tiefpunkt zu beginn: Gemischter Salat mit Fertigsauce und Dosengemüse. Die Pizza war OK aber nicht wirklich gewürzt. Kann das Restaurant nicht weiterempfehlen. Die zwei Sterne gibt es für die freundliche Bedienung.

Wir waren schon in Osteria Borgo mehrmals während unserer Zeit in Ascona und es hat immer etwas zu zeigen sich von seiner besten Seite, sowohl in Bezug auf Essen und Service. Wir können es wärmstens empfehlen. es als eine sehr gute Alternative zu den belebten Piazza am See.
