Papa's Authentic Mediterranean Cuisine

5 of us went here on Saturday evening and had a great time! We ordered a selection of tapas and shared it between us, the portion sizes were huge and very filling! Service friendly and attentive. Would recommend

We both really enjoyed our food last night at Papas Mediterranean. We found this restaurant through Trip Advisor and we weren't disappointed. We had filo starters, Hummus, King Prawns and the cost was very reasonable. Recommended

Have been to this restaurant many times and never had a bad meal yet. Great food reasonably priced, served by efficient and charming staff. We usually go for a selection of dishes but I’ve also been and had just a main course. It gets very...busy so I would advise booking.

One of the best places to eat in Harrogate. Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. Octopus and calamari both booked perfectly, and lots of excellent vegetarian and gluten free choices too. Portion sizes are perfect. Recommend to anyone. The puddings are on another level too.

Excellent place and do you know why? The owners run it. So many people these days own a restaurant and then employ others who often could not care less about the customer experience to run it. Papa's is excellent and good value. In fact writing...this review had made me want to book again so I must go now and do it.

Visited for the first time whilst on a short stay in the town. Was looking for decent vegetarian food and was not disappointed. A very warm welcome by pleasant staff. The place is small and quite intimate, with a nice atmosphere. Greek music as background...but not intrusive. The service was quick and the food very good, tasty, and adequate portions. Delighted with the experience, and would definitely recommend the establishment.

We first came to Harrogate in 2019 and found Papas.....soooo glad we did! It is THE best Greek/Mediterranean restaurant we've eaten in in a very long time. The food is authentic cuisine, the atmosphere reminds me of being on a long forgotten holiday and the...staff are so very friendly, nothing is too much trouble! We recently returned for our fifth visit and brought our 24 and 18yr old Daughters who also loved it as much as we do!! If you're in Harrogate it is definitely worth a visit.

The food was unique and very delicious. The products used in the dishes we ordered were freshly prepared and in perfect quantity. Richly presented in appearance, warm enough and the dishes looked so yammi. The octopus can melt in your mouth, it didn't taste like plastic like in other restaurants. This is my second time to eat octopus with such an amazing taste. Once in Bulgaria /Nesebar and now in this restaurant, when I ate others octopuses in my experience they were not good enough for my taste. But here is special. *The chef came out and shouted at my family whilst we were trying to enjoy my birthday meal* We visited Saturday 9th April at 5pm to celebrate my birthday. Myself, husband, 2 babies, my mum, dad and brother. We had ordered our food and enjoyed...our starter dishes. Food we had tried was really tasty. Then we had also ordered 2 mixed lamb/chicken souvlakis. Husbands was fine, my brothers lamb however was very chewy, rubbery and difficult to cut into. We told the waitress who was reluctant to take it back to the kitchen. She said to order a new dish and she would take it off the bill. My brother said he just wanted the lamb replacing.
