"Come here for a quick meal or a lunch, it is not good for a sit down meal, despite paying €8 9 for a pasta dish. Positives: Nice decor, spacious Portion sizes generous Good quality, fresh pasta Negatives: Service too many...issues to list! We knew it was partly self service (you order at the bar) but the staff were either totally disinterested or unconfident, didn't even check if our meals were okay. Meals came at completely different times, with no apology for the delays. Pasta Ruccola was totally dry. Menu said it came with cherry tomatoes but there was only one chopped into quarters. Asked for some sauce so the entire dish was taken away and reheated with a sauce including the fresh rocket! As the waitress brought it back, the manager rushed over to defend the dish which apparently is supposed to come sauceless. He was pretty brusque and made us feel like we were causing problems. Very hot restaurant"

Excellent selection and excellent food. The wait-staff spoke perfect English, though they argued about where one could get a Dünkelweissen. One said (in English) that you couldn't get one in all of Germany. The second called him an idiot (also in English). The second was...right, the first was an idiot.

My sons and I arrived here after driving from Luxembourg and we were tired. The young lady behind the counter seemed very bored and never smiled. We ordered and sat down. The food arrived in a strange sequence and my son had almost finished his...meal before mine arrived. Still no smiles when we paid. The food was ok though.
