Restaurant `S` Kastanie

we have been there several times, eat almost star level, very friendly staff and the interieur also very appealing. again and again a pleasure.

we celebrated our high time there and it was just fantastic! the food was super delicious, everything looked super nice and the whole team stood us with advice and did to the side! all very friendly! location simply top! would choose the location for our high time again!

it was a wonderful silvester festival with a tuned great 6-course menu, a warm and lovingly caring service team and a fantastic view over the city. a very good life singer has also provided an atmospheric ambiente. a completely successful evening in a pleasant round of about 50 guests. only recommended ;)

we have celebrated our high time in the S’kastanie and could not have chosen a better location for our special day!!Top service!!!Top food!! we were guests of a bigger party. we had a separated room to sit and additionally a smaller room for the buffet. the foods were all delicious and fresh. there was an Italianisxh/mediterranean buffet. it was enough to eat there and from fish to meat, appetizers, suppe everything available to meet all tastes. the wee were excellently selected. the service was extremely accommodating.

the position of the ́S ́ kastanie, sets the expectation per se, to a high level, which continues pleasantly when entering the restaurant. until then, a cheeful sunshine! what is then offered as lunch buffett, or is advertised, is at best average at lunchtime. that with estimated 60 guests, constantly meat and supplements were empty, is hardly understandable. the situation alone doesn't make up for everything!

tonight it was not optimal. the calves were of good quality and tasty. there was nothing to be put on at the low level. hmm unfortunately brot were not really fresh, the glasses or the carafe not really clean and also the big and small garnels not well prepared. the salate was little stimulating. rather fad and crow flies with it. Unfortunately, the price/performance ratio was not right. the chef really nice and good at creating but his 2nd penance a help, who should not smell already at the beginning of the evening after zigarette. everything in all isolated good dishes - as a whole concept, however, it is not up. very bad, because the situation is sensational good.

I visited this restaurant with my family when we were on the Christmas market in heidelberg. the restaurant is approx. 5-8 minutes from the heidelberger castle offers a pleasant and cozy atmosphere in historical ambiente. the menu offers a good selection of creative and good drinks that also include vegetarian and vegan options. I have eaten a vegetarian dish with violet gnocchi in walnut butter with green asparagus and champignons, which has tasted very well. the rest of the family ate was a spicy carving, including an appetizer consisting of a large bowl with a very good mixed salad. I would recommend this restaurant for those who like to eat well and a quiet environment.

So, as we were in many good to very good restaurants, you should consider tripadvisor, between "very good" and satisfying a point to forgive;)-so - the ambiente is special (a former shelter house), in summer you can sit well outside in the green and also tell inside the many old shooting discs.we were there several times and the gans certainly deserved 4 stars - many others. the 2 operators are sure always striving.we were there once with a group - and there the appetizer was divided but should be calculated several times ... and that leaves a dish taste, especially as well as eating those who have gone back, sometimes also should be calculated...If we don't do this - then 1 star more ...
