"A first visit to this establishment even though we have driven passed it many times and always said we need to give this a try. it was a Saturday, early evening and there was a good mix of clientele which made for a pleasant atmosphere. The staff were very friendly but didn 't seem to know which was our table even though it had been pre booked and how many of us would be there! The Rose Orchard serves Chinese food and traditional ales and spirits, it has a bar area with TV and a good size restaurant/seating area. As well as serving 'eat in ' they were also doing a good trade on the take away element of their business. The food arrived nice and hot and reasonably quickly however by the time it did arrive the plates were nearly cold. Unfortunately they didn 't utilise any form of heating to keep the food nice and hot so sadly by the time we got around to 'topping up ' what was on our plates the food on the dishes was cold! This was a shame because the actual food was very good, nicely seasoned and flavoursome. And plenty of it. The only thing making this a 4* review and not a 5* review was the fact the food was not kept warm. In retrospect we should maybe have asked for a food warmer as we saw one being brought out to a couple that came in and ordered after us. We will certainly revisit. If you decide to visit based on this review please be sure to request a food warmer."

We visited the Rose Orchard Chinese restaurant and pub,we chose a varied amount and found the portions were very good and all were delicious all served by great staff,there was also a great selection of wines,spirits and draft beer over all a fantastic night thank you Rose.

had a great meal. personal really friendly. great to receive my allergy and to advise what I could and could not eat. even a court separated so that it was safe for me. they went the extra mile and it was appreciated. great atmosphere. would recommend def and would not hesitate to go back. Third time here. Food is excellent but each time we've been seated near a very large table of drunks who were so noisy that its impossible to have a conversation. We've complained each time to no avail and this time emailed a complaint afterwards which has been ignored. If you want a good night out with conversation go somewhere else.

Food average. Do not book a table after 7.30pm as you might be subjected to very noisy and drunk people. We have been three times and have not managed to complete our meal because of large noisy gatherings where you could not hear yourself speak. Complaints to the management were completely ignored so our family left. We will never go again
