This pub is amazing! Just had the most perfect roast beef dinner! The staff here are so friendly helpful. The manager Aaron is such a friendly guy too! Lovely atmosphere

Staff were very friendly. Lovely decorated pub. Upstairs area was particularly nice for small groups to hang out in. Good choice of drinks. Get there before 8 if you want to order food.

Dog friendly pub with nice staff and some pretty decent draft beers. It wasn't too busy when we went on a weekend evening, and we got a table to sit at with the dogs easily. Will certainly go back again.

Every time I’ve eaten in the Shinner the food has always been fantastic. Had the cod dog today everything was super fresh down to the tartar sauce. Tasted fantastic. Haven’t seen such an item on a menu before!

This place is remarkable!! Went here for a birthday dinner with the family and the food was out of this world! It was high end restaurant quality stuff much more than you'd expect in a pub. The staff are friendly and attentive and the prices aren't too bad. The decor is just absolutely incredible with the tiles and walls all original from the original Sainsburys. It's like being in a time warp with the amount of extras they've added in truly incredible. One of the best pubs I've been to! Highly recommended! Visualizza piatti

We were impressed by the lovely staff who were really accommodating when we asked for extra veg and gravy with our roast dinner. They ran out of carrots when we visited and portion was kind of small and the roast beef a little tough but, on balance, it was all quite tasty and it all went! It is a quirky kind of pub with knick-knacks everywhere but it is very comfortable and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. I saw the pics of other people's roast dinner on Google reviews and our meal was definitely a lot smaller but the helpful bar staff more than made up for this on the day by offering us more roasties and veg! Thank you to the lovely staff.

Quirky and kitschy decor across a decent sized space. A chilled atmosphere and a solid selection of rotating craft beers both canned and on tap. Keeps each visit interesting as there’s always something new to try. Keep an eye on the pubs Instagram page for the current „secret stash“ of limited edition beers. Pub has a massive selection of board games so a nice place to while away a few hours on a Sunday. Pretty buzzy on a Saturday night. Arrive early for a table. Very much a 'hipster ' bar, based on the decor, drinks and food. It 's typical London alcohol prices and food prices, you won 't get change from a fiver for a pint, and a burger and chips will be £7 . Food quality is overall good the few times I 've eaten here. The bar is approximately 5-10 minutes walk from Sutton train station and is located next to the band stand and opposite Wilko 's. Ideally located to drop the husband off while you shop and join him later for a cocktail or beer and grab a bite to eat!
