"we have been traveling to deidesheim for many years. for the first time in st, urban and to compare with several restaurants in the neighbourhood, we would say: among the star-seated hotel restaurants this had the best kitchen from all. I would recommend to make sure they get a table in the ground floor or outside instead of the cellar. then we would also recommend to experience an evening in kirchenstübl, a restaurant where more local food for a casual every day go, and compare it with the elevated variants and the elevated price of local food in st. urban."

Lovely and professional waitress from Berlin who married a man from the Palatine region. The village has turned into a faux-Italian or a faux-South-of-France place and it is way too crowded but the setting of the restaurant's terrace is still beautiful. Never mind the many cars.
