"Menu for this occasion 149, p.P. incl. corresponding drinks on occasion S H Gourmet Festival. The Hotel Restaurant Seeblick Norddorf Amrum has been hosting an annual Schleswig Holstein Gourmet Festival for a long time. Star guest chef and designer of menu 2015 – 29th Mr. Thomas Merkle from the restaurant of the same name in Endingen was the Kaiserstuhl. Thus, the performance of the kitchen brigade under Seeblick Chef Gunnar Hesse is evaluated here when preparing this strange menu creation. Today the 2nd time – on the day before it was already a run. "Die Portionen sind sehr übersichtlich. Ich und meine Begleitung hatten als mittelalte, normalgroße Personen nach dem Essen noch Hunger.Als Vorspeise hatte ich gratinierten Schafskäse mit Apfelscheiben bestellt (8€).Dieser hätte besser als gebratene Apfelscheiben mit ein wenig Schafskäse bezeichnet werden sollen, da der Schafskäse nur in sehr übersichtlicher Menge vorhanden war, hauptsächlich bestand die Vorspeise also aus Apfelscheiben.Meine Begleitung hatte Kabeljaufilet mit Bratkartoffeln bestellt, dabei gab es einen gemischten Salat. Leider kam der Salat erst, nachdem ich die Vorspeise gegessen hatte, d.h. zuerst aß ich die Vorspeise, während sie dabei zuguckte und danach aß sie den Salat, während ich dabei zuguckte.Die Hauptspeisen im Anschluss waren qualitativ vollkommen in Ordnung, allerdings von der Menge her sehr übersichtlich. Für 25€ bzw. 20€ (Kabeljau mit Pfifferlingen, Bandnudeln und Meeresspargel/Kabeljau mit Bratkartoffeln) ist das trotz des auf der Insel generell höheren Preisniveaus nicht zufriedenstellend.Auf die Rechnung mussten wir dann trotz mehrmaligen Winkens zur Kellnerin (die auch einen recht missmutigen Eindruck machte) einige Zeit lang warten."

"Das Burger Pier ist ein noch relativ junges Restaurant in Norddorf auf Amrum, erst seit wenigen Jahren im Geschäft. Auch die Besitzer und das Team sind jung und sehr engagiert, aber insbesondere außerordentlich freundlich. Der Service und die Schnelligkeit ist absolut erstklassig. Genauso erstklassig sind die Burger. Viel sagen muss man dazu nicht: Einfach Burger wie sie sein sollen. Meine persönlichen Favoriten sind die Bergziege und der Brie-Burger. Aber auch die anderen Burger ind perfekt und lecker. Dazu gibts krosse Pommes und wenn man will einen Salat. Aber eigentlich reichen die Burger vollkommen. Meine Empfehlung: reservieren und dann genießen."

"I'm here with my son in the rehab, the burgers and the food is good and very tasty. The waffles were also great, but the staff is an absolute disaster. When we were there for the first time, we were served only plump and unfriendly. When we were there the 2nd time and asked for a table for 6 people for the next week, we were only answered in a rotten way that no tables are put together here and the groups are undesirable. You can only book a 4 he and call 2 he table, but whether it is not guaranteed. "Das gastronomische Angebot auf Amrum war noch nie ein Highlight, aber die Insel an sich hat es mehr als kompensiert. Hüttmann war immer eine Notlösung, die einen jedoch nie enttäuscht hat. Im Mai 2024 waren wir mal wieder da und mehr als enttäuscht. Die Qualität der Speisen ist auf einfachstem Mittagstischniveau, der Service bis auf eine englisch sprechende Bedienung) keineswegs serviceorientiert. Beispiel: Aperitif stand gerade auf dem Tisch. Da kommt ein junger Mann in Jeans und braunen Schuhe in den Raum und ruft laut unseren Namen und sagt „die Suppen sind fertig“. Als ich ihm sagte, dass ich noch gar nicht meinen Gin Tonic ausgetrunken habe, bekam ich zu hören: „das stört mich nicht“. Fazit: Hüttmann nie wieder! Atmosphere: 1"
