Absolutely perfect family dinning. The host was a perfect gentleman with knowledge and stories of the globe. The food was exquisitely prepared. I would highly recommend this restaurant to all. Although they were serving 70+ guests, we felt like the only table in the room. I will be dining there again as it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

We've always had fantastic meals here. While we often enjoy their fish and chips, we visited for a special Mother’s Day menu this time. We were delighted to receive a complimentary glass of fizz, along with a three-course meal and coffee/mints for just £21.95. It was an amazing deal, and the staff were wonderful. I would definitely recommend this place, and it's also great for kids!

Thank to the Allerton team for allowing us to have our wedding with you. The whole day and evening were fantastic, the food was divine, the service was impeccable and all the guests including the bride and groom were beyond happy. We had a very enjoyable meal in a warm and friendly atmosphere during our first visit. The menu on the website caught our attention, and we were not disappointed. In fact, we regretted not having been here before! There was plenty to choose from, and I opted for the hake, which was beautifully cooked and delicious. My partner was pleased with his juicy filet of beef and the incredibly tasty chips. We’re hoping to come back soon for dessert!

We visited Charlie Bretts for the first time last week and had a fantastic time. The food was top notch and the prices were very reasonable for such good quality. The ambience was very inviting, and even though it was quiet when we visited the atmosphere was still enjoyable. Our host Sol made the experience into something special he has obviously been in the hospitality industry for a long time and is a consummate professional. This place really deserves to be packed out every night. We will return.

I recently visited the new mini Ivy Asia in Alwoodley, called the Alertton Asia, and I have to say, the tasting menu was incredible! The food was absolutely impeccable; I’m still in a food coma as I write this. From the duck spring rolls to the tempura prawns and perfectly cooked steak, everything was outstanding. The service was friendly and attentive, and I can't help but mention the stylish and trendy interior design of the restaurant. I highly recommend it—this will definitely be my new go-to spot! The gentleman who runs the restaurant knows a thing or two about hospitality. Really friendly, curtious and dignified. The place looks great inside and out with a really nice bar. If the fish and chips are to go by, the entire menu is amazing! Credit to the chefs! It's by far the best fish and chips I have ever eaten. Fresh, white fish that melts off the fork. Non greasy batter, and crunchy but soft chips. The bread and butter is carefully prepared and cooked with great detail and thought gone into presentation. £22 for two fish and chips, bread and butter and two lemonades. Yes, it might sound pricy for what it is, but it is cheaper than going to various other places and certainly worth pay...

The communication leading up to the party and the confirmation of our menu choices was outstanding, which gave us complete confidence that everything would run smoothly on the day. And it did! We truly enjoyed ourselves, thanks to the fantastic team that managed everything so well. The chef's food was excellent, and the service was nothing short of amazing. The food is enjoyable, with a variety of side options, but sadly, it lacks truly Asian offerings, opting instead for items like burgers, hot dogs, and chicken fries. It's a quality pub/bar with fair prices for generous portion sizes, something that many places struggle to achieve. The outdoor seating area is nice, equipped with heat lamps (note that the terrace closes at 9:00 PM), and the indoor space is spacious and stylish. If it were located in Leeds City Centre, I’m sure it would be bustling with customers. Parking is convenient, seating is easy to find, and the restaurant is situated on a pleasant street.
