we had a really nice meal here, it was quite quiet, but it was 4pm so between lunch and dinner. also a really good pint 'offshore' from sharps brewery.

eating is on the expensive side, but creatiw and tasty. the Valisian lambs came with a brilliant tasteful red wine sauce. it went well with the kartoffels and cherry tomatoes .

Huge, traditional looking pub in the centre of Brecon. There was only one staff member working on the front so service was a little slower, but very friendly. Coffee dessert were tasty

We went there twice as the food was great. Burgers are highly recommended. Freshly made food with super friendly staff. Plus it's pet friendly and on both occasions we got given some water and treats for our puppy. Can't go wrong with this place.

Food and service top class. Staff all outstanding. I thoroughly enjoyed the battered and deep fried cauliflower enlivened and complimented by a pitch perfect chilli jam. The goats cheese drizzled with a dash of balsamic was delivered with a baguette which was as fresh as...you like

that was a delicious meal. I love the burger. juicy and tasteful! the texture of the chips was ideal, a wonderful balance of soft and crispy. the woofers were great. I especially liked the presentation of food go the extra mile that added to the total experience. excellent customer service and I really enjoyed being here.

A group of 9 of us stayed for a meal and we were all very happy with our food. The staff are friendly and efficient. The food all came out after a short wait but was all together and was hot. There was one error with one of the meals but it was rectified very quickly. I had the vegetarian option (mushroom Wellington) and it was excellent. Not a very wide selection of ales but there are 3 largers that I could see, quite a big list of wines as well as cocktails. We would definitely go back. Hand sanitiser at the entrance but other then that it's all back to pre-covid conditions. A comfortable, warm and friendly environment.

OMG it was an amazing experience for a Valentine's Day evening, I originally rang weeks before going and the lady on the phone said that they weren't going to be prepared enough time to do a Valentine's Day special. But when we walked into...the venue, it was all decorated for Valentine's Day which really wowed me and my partner's expectations. The whole team was so friendly and felt rushed, but we both said to them that we'll order stuff when you're sorted from setting up as we got there earlier than planned. Our meal was out of this world and we both will be returning soon, keep up the awesome work guys and looking forward to going back soon. Xx

I and my partner had an extraordinary Valentine's Day meal on the evening on the 14th february, when I originally arranged to book it, they said they were uncertain, a Valentine's Day special to do with the amount of time they had to be closed and reopened in the deals, but when we were booking on the phone there was a really nice surprise to have inside decorations in red for. if someone thinks to go for a Valentine's Day meal in brecon, I would definitely recommend the bank pub at the corner in front of the museum at the front end of the city. keep it to all employees and team after our extraordinary experience with everything we would come back soon. the best of josh. xx
