To our surprise, when I went inside to ask about the food, I found out that they don't actually serve any. It would really help everyone if you updated your website to clarify that no food is served. I stopped in for a pint and found the atmosphere very welcoming. The staff were helpful in assisting us in finding a place for dinner.

Went in, felt like we were intruding. No sign of serving food despite sign at crossroads saying it was served. Left quickly and went elsewhere.

Great pub with good real ales always available. There is an aviary in the beer garden and a pool table in the back room these days. Sandwiches are usually available but the landlord doesn't mind you ordering a takeaway either.

after a long walk remained a few pints! best pint of lanlords I had in very long time. friendly staff, friendly customers and all round right yorkshire pub as it should be. also great prices, not tried to eat, but surely will soon try with the family.
