Good food. Great service. And accommodated the 9 children in our group beautifully.

Good car park, good menu ,well kept spitfire, attentive team, clean toilets great garden if not raining, any questions one had were answered

Really wonderful Sunday Roast....first time we have tried it there and will certainly be back....lovely lights, great ambience, really enjoyed it thanks.

Dog-friendly and friendly pub that welcomed us and our 2 Border Terriers. We really enjoyed our visit and lunch of fish and chips, definitely now on our list of go-to pubs.

Swift and friendly service. Decent vegetarian risotto. The skate wing (fish) come a bit too salty, but the friendly atmosphere and well maintained garden easily make for the best pub around Crowborough.

Outstanding food, lovely menu choices, old favourite pub food mixed with some new and creative dishes. I had the hake, it was amazing. Sat on the patio, yes you can hear the road but do not let that put you off, find chattier friends and you won’t hear it!!!

We were looking for a quiet country pub with a good vegetarian option to celebrate our wedding anniversary and I chose the Blue Anchor after looking online. It turned out to be perfect. We sat outdoors on the terrace, surrounded by flowers that were humming with bees in the summer sun and enjoyed a lovely and relaxed meal with a couple of glasses of chilled wine. We both picked the rather rare Hen-of-the-woods mushroom dish and it was delightful. The service was neither quick nor too slow on a very quiet midweek day but our waitresses were attentive and pleasant. In short, a very good choice to celebrate 55 years of marriage. We may return but rather sooner.

the blue anker pub review of a young man as pubs go first, this is a solid choice with a large indoor area for eating and drinking accompanied by an impressive beer garden with plenty of space for children to play without coming too close to others. I must say a rather strange bar layout, but this is forgiven for the selection of beds that is plentiful I have some handles, but this is on my personal opinion and not seen as a big negatiw, the name of the pub on the blue ton and it definitiw lives up to the name. with him on the road, this creates a background soundtrack of motor and street noise, but the pleasant sound of people with a beautiful day out is louder. the personal where very nice...
