I dined here for dinner, and the restaurant was beautifully decorated for the jubilee. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. We ordered the pie of the day and a pizza. It's a charming local spot that offers local beer on tap and features local wine on its menu.

The staff were genuinely friendly and provided excellent service. The food menu was a bit limited, so I opted for two starters instead of a main course. We were looking for a sandwich at lunchtime. As they did not have sandwiches on the menu, they suggested the starters woukd be a goid alternative.... they were right! I had not been here for many years but with friends we are trying to find a replacement for our Saturday lunch venue. So I have to say the it was excellent. Good was absolutely perfect. I had the pork belly, which was my favourite menu item from earlier visits. It was the best i have had for a long time. 11/10. My friends are equally delighted with what they had. It was busy but the staff were attentive and cannot be faulted. Highly recommended.

I visited yesterday for my workplace's Christmas meal, and we all had a wonderful time. The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the atmosphere in the pub was lovely. Additionally, the staff were very friendly. I want to extend a special thank you for accommodating my vegan diet. I called ahead, and the chef prepared a beautifully crafted 3-course menu that showed great thought and care. The addition of the curry was a delightful festive touch!
