Excellent experience at Bull and Claw as always. Great menu and food is delicious! Good value for money. Staff friendly and efficient.

Great service, food fab. I will be back. Management our obviously running this like a family concern. 5 stars. Drink at the rice's pub next door first? Can't go wrong?

Went for lunch. Had the delicious chowder. Hubby had good old fish n chips which he said were tasty. Attentive staff. Decent menu. Hard to chose what to eat, in a good way.

The Bull Claw is a hidden gem in Newtownards, great food and service. The rib eye is particularly tasty. The crab claws for starter are a must along with Mayday sauvignon blanc fyi fwiw

Nice place and lovely staff. The food was average with most of my party saying their dish was either a bit dry or tasteless. I had the vegan bean burger, which was good but the chips were dry. However the staff were friendly and helpful and keen to see we had a good night

Good food and friendly staff. We called in on a Monday night and the place was busy enough, which I always take as a good sign. I had scampi with chips, the batter on the scampi was very light and crispy. The other meal was crab claws with prawns which I'm told was delicious.

This was my first time here after hearing about it for years. And everyone was right. The food is great. I was only slightly annoyed by the limited fixed menu. But that's my issue. I would like a better beer selection, but I have that issue almost every where. Would definitely recommend.

Food was fantastic, couldn’t fault it at all, the service from the staff let this place down big style. Our table wasn’t checked on, not once over all 3 courses, drink top ups weren’t offered, my husband had to leave our table and order more drinks, staff appeared miserable, bored, standing around talking with each other, on their phones, no one appeared to be in charge and no one really seemed that interested in the customers, and at the end about 8-45/9pm they couldn’t wait to get all tables finished up and out. Will be back, hopefully with different staff on though. Hats off to the chefs once again.
