What can I say? Been quite a few times, great every time, don't know if there is a new chef, but this meal was exceptional. Highly recommended.

Always a fablous meal to be had here. Really pleasant staff. Not busy for the area we sat in. If you have not been before, go try for yourself, just to experience how good the food is

Lovely restaurant. I hesitate to use the description ‘old fashioned’ as it has negative connotations, but I use the term in its most positive way. Outstanding service, excellent choice of fixed menu, traditional setting, and wonderful food. We had a lovely evening here surrounded by a great atmosphere.

Went here for an evening meal Service was odd and ranged from inattentive to just poor Ordered the chateaubriand, plates arrived dirty and had to be returned, the meat was meant to be medium rare but arrived well done in the centre and worse at the ends. This was fed back to the waiting staff but nothing done about it. The waiter tried to serve the vegetables at the table and just struggled.

A charming building in a lovely location that offers exquisite fine dining. 20 family members came here for a farewell party and after e-mailing the establishment regarding my vegetarian option, the food did not disappoint. My starter was a golden beetroot salad drizzled with basil oil and balsamic syrup which was delicious. My main was filo pastry stuffed with spinach, emmental cheese grapes and pecans in a pool of herb sauce, which was something completely different for me to try, and didn't disappoint. A great place to visit for a special occasion.

A lovely meal beautifully presented and very good service by the young staff on a busy night. Our service was prompt and the entire meal served with appropriate time between courses. Thank you. We return again and again. A small entrance seating area for drinks while waiting to go into the restaurant. Drinks can be a tad pricey. By the bottle a good selection good price range. Tables set with damask tablecloths and napkins and silver cutlery. China abounds. A delight. Lovely log fires in the winter. The food is both hot, well cooked and presented and a taste delight on the tongue. So lovely to have ones own dish of vegetables as extra and not have to pay extra. At last a sensible restaurant...

Our second visit to The Cherry House in Werrington to celebrate our wedding anniversary. From the moment we walked to the time we left we have been treated respectfully with patience, grace and consideration. We witnessed a beautiful ballet of delivery by the waiting team and a philharmonic concert of food from start to finish. One of many things that stand out in the delivery, is you are not asked how things are before you get a first mouthful of food like many eateries do and for that I truly commend the restaurant as it shows confidence from prep to table as every morsel of food wad perfectly cooked and presented.
