The Chester Tandoori

iv been to this place only once and truthfully speaking i think the food was rubbish.

I actually think that this place is past it's primeIt used to be a nice place, but now the decor is showing the signs of neglect and it looks tacky.

Chester Tandoori is a well established restaurant that still has a 70's / 80's look. It has plenty of seats in the many open type plan rooms the building Visualizza piatti

I've been here for years. I had bad meals and good meals and sometimes amazing meals. all in all, it is probably one of the best Indians in chester and should be given a jump. the lammbalti is a good dish to go and the Sunday buffet is a good value for money.

I decided to try the Sunday buffet for £9.95 and was pleasantly surprised. The service was good and the manager was friendly, engaging in a nice conversation with us. The variety of food was decent, but I was hoping for better taste. Overall, it was a good experience.

disappointed! to beg the chester tandoori in December, we really did not want to disturb. the service was really bad and we waited long before our order and we waited for an hour to eat. some of the other customers even went out as they wait much longer than we arrive for their food. the food itself was not very nice and my jalfreizi had a terrible taste. we were in many Indian restaurant and that was the worst! H- I had the Chicken Korma, it was a big meal and took half of it home (which I like) was sweet and creamy, I enjoyed it My rate: 9/10 T- I got the midras and was disappointed there was no heat in the curry, I think they forgot the chilli as I found non and seriously could not taste any spice, the rice was very oily or greesy for keema rice. The beef seemed a bit over cooked as well as it had little flavour. This was a shame as the astheic of the place was nice and the portions were excellent. My rate: 5/10 Our Rate: 7/10

be careful! be very careful to order deliveries from them. I had a new menu with me and I ordered only dishes that should be after the menu, but I was told I didn't want to argue then checked the paper menu and the internet site where they still gave the price, so jumped back to cancel from the manager' for not canceling the order once he said the price! he always said the price was increased - the menu in the internet is from December and I am trying to get the place in he told me that the price of tarka dal was increased instead of in teh menu, which makes it the most expensive tarka dal in the whole...read more

I've been feeding my friends in the chest-sandori because we know the owner personally. eating and eating are always on the place, but since their refit the customer service is not satisfactory.
