Delicious coffee, good service. Loved to see the kindness and dignity older locals were treated with. Proper community hub.

The restaurant has a very welcoming atmosphere. The service was prompt and the food was freshly prepared using locally sourced ingredients, resulting in delicious dishes. I especially enjoyed their coffee and the assortment of delightful baked cakes. The restaurant is also accommodating for both dogs and children. I would rate it 5 stars.

Excellent dog friendly cafe in quaint Filey. The food is fresh and the staff are very helpful. Be aware though this is a local hub of activity (which adds to the great atmosphere). Dogs are welcome inside and out. We visited here for lunch and breakfast and numerous occasions during our week long holiday. Highly recommend the poached eggs on toast, they are done to perfection.

This Coffeeshed is to us fantastic, we live in Filey and it has enabled us to meet people we probably would have never met We go in for coffee or tea virtually every morning and we are greeted by some lovely ladies and sometimes a very pleasant young man, we have had food there and we found it delicious, we do not have one complaint, moan, grouse if we did we wouldn't go in virtually every day. This restaurant is a popular spot, and it was bustling when we visited. The tables were cleared promptly and well-maintained. You place your order at the counter. I enjoyed a delicious coffee and bacon sandwich, and although the drinks were served quickly, the food took a little longer, which was understandable given the busy crowd. It appeared that many of the customers were regulars, which is always a positive sign.

Waited for breakfast for over 40 minutes, when it was served there was no cutlery, missing items on breakfast, no napkins, no butter for toast which was burnt. It was cold and either overcooked or undercooked this was recommended to us by a shop owner in Filey, tea and coffee was lovely. If you are visiting Filey please don't go on recommendations via people who live or work here as we've done this and it's not been great.

Superb breakfast. High quality produce...proper bacon and sausages nothing worse than cheap sausages! Served with either white or brown toast or bread. Real bread, not 'Duck Bread ' : I don 't eat fried/poached or scrambled eggs, so had hash browns instead as a straight swap. My friend had scrambled eggs on toast, which was also enjoyed very much.
