I visited for Sunday Lunch was very disappointed, the starters were cold, the meat was chewy, potatoes were hard, and the cauliflower cheese had no cauliflower! I was treated to this by friends for my 50th birthday so it was very disappointing.

Just like to say that we had a excellent experience at the Farmhouse pub on the 16th June for an evening meal, the staff and food was excellent especially are waitress Kelly who looked after us, nothing was too much and she made are evening more pleasurable, she is a credit to this establishment 10/10

We had booked a family meal for 9 people. The whole evening was fantastic with a warm welcome, quick service and fantastic food. One of the other great factors was the reasonable price of £16.95 for an excellent three course meal that was really good quality and really tasty. We had a fantastic evening. Thank you to all the staff!

Underwhelming menu choice. Husband and dad had burgers and both were quite disappointed by them. I had the plant-based burger and it was delicious. Puddings weren’t great. Crumble had way too much cinnamon and custard serving was very small. Husband’s initial choice had to go back (brownie) but his second choice was nice. I’d gone here on recommendation but didn’t think it was great. On a plus side, Harvey’s was a nice surprise and the Shiraz was delicious.

We visited for Sunday Roasts although my wife is vegetarian so the Chef very thoughtfully provided a lovely fulsome roast vegetable plate. The service was exemplary with Denise. We explained that I was a blue light card holder and we were given a discount of 25% off our food making it tremendous value. Breaded chilli mushrooms and hallomi bites with a tangytastic chipotle sauce. My roast beef was well cooked and vegetables plentiful topped by a huge Yorkshire pudding. We couldn't fit in a dessert but the sticky toffee pudding on another table took my eye. It's a great value meal at any time but blue light card holders should turn on the blue light and get down to the Farmhouse!
