"They offer 12-inch and 20-inch sizes (the 20-inch is massive—enough to feed four people!). They also have sides, and their garlic dip comes in a huge pot for just £1; it's way tastier than what the competitors offer! The only downside is that they only deliver to the PO7 and PO8 areas, which is quite frustrating. However, I'm more than happy to pick it up every time. If you're in PO6, they might want to consider adding that area to their delivery zones as well. Overall, this is epic, authentic pizza—you're not going to find anything else like it anywhere in or around Portsmouth!"

"I wanted to treat my Mum to a pub lunch. Had seen the good reviews on Trip Advisor for the Farmers Inn so we took a drive out from Portsmouth to Hornchurch (about 20 minutes) to give it a try. The owners were so friendly and welcoming which is an important and rare commodity nowadays. I had the slow cooked pork belly which was cooked to perfection with excellent crackling and my Mum had the beef featherblade with mustard mash which was again cooked perfectly with great flavour. Really couldn't fault it. Pub had a really warm, cosy, rustic feel and relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely visit again I'm passing. Thankyou for the great hospitality."

"After having traveled all day, my husband and I decided to relax with a high tea at the Rose Lounge. The tea, scones, sandwiches, and pastries were all excellent. The portions were VERY generous. Our server, Tessa, I think, was courteous, charming, and attentive. The harpist was really talented. This was a 5 star experience. Coming from the states, where there is almost never any ceremony around a pot of tea, and if there is it usually involves only women, I found it fascinating that the harpist and I were the only women in the lounge. "In late October 2022, we hosted a 90th birthday celebration for 20 people at this restaurant. We were able to enjoy our meal without any concerns about the service, and we will certainly be back. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely fabulous, featuring all fresh, local ingredients. The chef and his team clearly excel at their craft. Everyone in our group was delighted that we chose The Golden Lions for the occasion. We plan to make this restaurant one of our regular favorites.
