"Spent the afternoon here celebrating our dad's 80tg birthday. Buffet laid on was superb and so big that we all had to take some home! Staff were really friendly and helpful, felt like nothing was too much trouble. The place looks great and the outside is spot on! This place deserves to be rammed every day! The Gauntlet is a warm and welcoming pub, featuring a friendly staff who provided excellent service. The meals were served promptly and were absolutely delicious. I highly recommend it to everyone!

Sunday dinners often come with the expectation of overpriced meals, small portions, and lackluster service, but my experience at the Gauntlett was anything but that. The food was excellent, generously sized, and served hot. The staff were friendly and courteous, and the desserts were delicious. The atmosphere was cheerful, making for a delightful evening. I would definitely return!
