"On arrival we inspected our beds, the pillow cases were very stained and on closer inspection the actual pillows were brown with stains and hairs on the sheets. We called for the manager who asked us if we wanted to change rooms or have the bed changed we opted to have the bed changed, we then went out. When we got back we noticed the bed had been changed. We wanted ice to go in our drinks opening the fridge the freezer compartment was solid see attached. Went to make cups of coffee found that the coffee sachets provided had been there so long that the coffee inside them had crystallised and was solid and black see attached.Curtains dragging on the floor see attached.In the morning removing the plug in the bathroom sink found it blocked with lots of hair and slime see pics attached. Couldn’t use spare toilet roll as it was placed on the toilet scrubbing brush which was brown and filthy. So contacted management was told no one available until three that afternoon so I demanded to either speak to the manager or the owner ASAP after about ten to fifteen minutes the owner arrived so I showed her what we had found, she was apologetic as I explained that this was not acceptable in an establishment of this standard and the price we had paid, so we went to pay and the young lady told us they had taken the drinks off because of the problem we had encountered on arrival which was £8. 45 so I paid the bill which had been reduced to £90.00 and left. Other staff very polite."
