"wonderfully hosted by richard and his team from the moment we arrived. they really cared for us, with two little young, and eating was absolutely delicious. my wife and I both had a lamb special that was beautiful, and the baked chicken of the children was great; an incredible part of the child. Popped in with my mate for a cheeky beer, neck oil, table service good, staff arrived complimentary tachos, of course we stayed for a second pint, love venue, dusk across kew green, beautiful from pub window.

here twice for lunch at the research in the national archives. both of them were very friendly and responsive. much more than most other pubs. on my last visit I enjoyed the 7 pfund lunch option of the mushroom spaghetti .

Great Sunday roast. Had the roast pork belly beautifully cooked, tender pork with crispy, delicious crackling. Nice staff, lovely venue and atmosphere. Shout out for the deep fried parsnip never had that with a roast before before and will definitely be trying myself.

They have the audacity to call this a pie. It looked and tasted more like a starter. (Don't even get me staterted on the price. The cost of living is hitting us all and when I go out to eat I expect value. The drinks were poured generously and the only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1. Slow service and it took 45 mins to bring the food to the table
