"Beautiful place. But disappointed with the food this visit. Steak was cooked to well done,when asked for raw to medium so that went back. Then the oinion rings we could not eat due to dripping in oil. We're we were placed to sit I kept getting knocked all evening by staff and public,wasn't happy at all with that. I just kept getting apologise. We have allways loved this place."

Wonderful place to go for a Sunday roast Portions are large and everything always tastes freshly prepared.

After reserving a table and receiving confirmation through OpenTable, the Hanging Gate later called to inform us that they did not have availability for the time slot we had a confirmed reservation for.

This meal has become an annual event. We are 8 in total with two children, 1 GF/Vegetarian and 1 x GF. Your staff are most helpful and bend over backwards to make sure we all get what we want. So impressed.

My husband, sister-in-law, and I had a fantastic lunch at Suspension Gate. The staff was very friendly and courteous, and the food was served on hot plates. Although we didn't find the menu to be very appealing, we will definitely be returning to Suspension Gate in the future.

We had a confirmation from the open table of our booking at Hanging Gate. In the pub they denied that they receive it and blame Open Table as an unreliable website. We were accommodated, party of 7. Food was moderate, broccoli almost raw, Dessert was variable. We're not gonna eat here again.
