Great food and service. The fish and chips are so good i must have had them the last 4 times! excellent beer, guest ales. good eating place.

We had a fantastic Sunday lunch at this restaurant. It is both dog and family friendly, with a price range of £20-30 per person. The food, service, and atmosphere all scored top marks of 5. We highly recommend trying the Roast Beef.

Fabulous. Incredible setting, great front of house who couldn't do enough for you the food speaks for itself. Has to be one of the best country food pubs in Yorkshire, if not anywhere. Not cheap but worth every penny, good mixture of classic pub food more adventurous plates such as Grouse. A true gem.

We visited the Hinchliffe Arms while traveling outside of the USA, as our last name is Hinchliffe. The food was incredibly delicious, and we enjoyed the atmosphere and the history that connected to our family. When we mentioned our last name to the waitress, she was incredibly friendly and took special care of us. She even gave us a souvenir coaster and menus. The restaurant is beautifully situated in the landscape and is definitely worth a visit. We would make the journey here again without hesitation to enjoy another wonderful meal.

My partner and I have visited this restaurant twice now - the first time with my parents - and it has been a wonderful discovery! The staff is very friendly, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is cozy. We were pleasantly surprised by the Halloween decorations during our first visit, especially the fake blood writing on the men's bathroom mirror. It was a nice touch! The restaurant is also dog-friendly, and the staff clearly enjoys having dogs around. Just a heads up, the restaurant is a bit off the main road and the road leading to it is narrow, so be cautious when driving there. Despite the location, it is definitely worth a visit!
