The Kitchen - Piatti

Went to lunch at The Kitchen today and it was lovely. The food was delicious and the manager Tim looked after us brilliantly and the service from Bonnie and Tom was excellent. We had a thoroughly nice time, many thanks to everyone, especially Tim.

The Kitchen is by far our favourite restaurant locally, the food is excellent, the staff are excellent, we cannot fault it, we will be back soon. We can say no more than wee feel it represents.great value when you take into account the whole package.

My wife, son, and I had an excellent lunch at The Kitchen today. The food was phenomenal and the service was top-notch - friendly, attentive, and perfectly timed. A fabulous lunch at the Kitchen with James Martin teaching his culinary skills in the background. I had the most excellently cooked pork chop which was a delight for my taste buds and my friend had the curry, another taste explosion. Its at the higher end of the lunch cost scale, but the ambiance, service and food more thaqn make up for it. 5 stars from me.

I recently went to The Kitchen for a birthday lunch with my family and it was fantastic. The atmosphere was wonderful and the food was even better. Tim, the manager, was excellent and very professional. Our server Bonnie and Tom took great care of us and always had smiles on their faces. The birthday plate with a candle was a nice touch. Overall, I couldn't be happier with my experience. Thank you to the entire team at The Kitchen for a great meal.

The place was an experience I'll never forget. Walking around the grounds was splendid enough. They seem to have thought of everything. There was disabled parking in the front of the restaurant. We were greeted at the door ,escorted to our table,never rushed to choose what we ate. Cheryl our waitress was caring, knowledgeable about all the menus, courteous she even arranged for all the chefs to sign my placemat. Super time was had by all. Food was fab as well. Dined on my own after attending James Martin’s Cookery School which was excellent. Review to follow. Wanted the Gin and Tonic Prawns but sadly no prawns were available so had the Heritage Tomato and Burrata Salad. The dish was delicious my only criticism was the tomatoes were straight from the fridge or cool room and as a result did not have the opportunity to show their flavour to its best. I had the fish and chips which were wonderful, the fish fresh and large beautiful flakes of fish in a crispy well seasoned batter. Chips, properly made and a naughty but tasty treat. James Martin’s own label white and red wines were delicious and much better quality than some “ famous” wine varieties. Ha...

The food that we had was very delicious and cooked to a good standard. The flatbread of the day had lots of flavour and was a very good combination of ingredients. The fish goujons (on the children’s menu) were fresh and to a very nice quality! The moving mountains burger was very flavourful as was the butter chicken curry! The chips were thick, chunky, soft and fluffy on the inside, and very tasty! Presentation was also very good, it made everything look delectable it was! The service was professional and food was served within reasonable time. The ambience and atmosphere in the restaurant is also quite nice: there’s music playing lightly in the background which helps to establish some live...

This was my first visit to The Kitchen with a group of friends. While some had mentioned that the afternoon tea was disappointing, we decided to try the Festive Lunch for Christmas. Unfortunately, I was not impressed. The service from our waitress was excellent, but I noticed that the Amuse Bouche was not served until I got home. My starter of roast butternut squash and sage risotto was tasty, but the Roasted Herb-Crusted salmon lacked the herb crust. The portion size was good, but the dish felt underwhelming. The Festive Kitchen Apple was enjoyable, but the time between courses was too long. Despite the company being great, it took us until 4:30 to leave at 1:00. One of our friends waited a...
