"Was recommended lunch her by a local car dealership. It was busy. Parking not great. Tight few spaces. Then its on the main road. Almost gave up, but someone left. Nice surroundings. Not many staff. Ordered lunch, which took almost an hour. A mixed grill for my hubby. Which was substantial and tasty. I had a prawn cocktail only as I wasnt that hungry. Sorely dissapointed. A load of dark green lettuce. On a plate with some prawns in sauce thrown at it and 4 triangles of stale brown bread. No cucumber, no tomato. Should have ordered a prawn sanwich. Same things only much cheaper. Service: 3 Location: 3"

A really nice cosy pub. Stayed over to break a drive. Rooms were big enough, good water pressure, and plenty of hot water. Breakfast was delicious, especially the porridge! Booked a meal at lunchtime Christmas eve at 12.30. Limited menu they said but still plenty of choice. Gyros chicken and chips, Hunter's chicken and gammon with pineapple and eggs were huge! At around £16 each not the cheapest but you can't say you didn't get plenty. Really tasty with great proper chips . Booths at the front by the bar and another restaurant at rear.
