"I visited here last week as a birthday present and wow, what an amazing place. It was run by a very small team but it worked perfectly. The decor was simple but equally very stylish, without looking flash or poncy, and the David White painting on the wall of the Great white shark that sparkled in the light was absolutely amazing (I really want one) We both had the tasting menu and I had the wine pairing too, for an extra £35, it was an absolute bargain and I would highly recommend. The food was superb, we had no idea what we would be getting as the menu changes seasonally but they double checked if there was anything we didn't like before starting the courses and then we were off. We've eaten in quite a few michellin star restaurants now and there's usually always one dish that one of us isn't keen on, not this time. Genuinely cannot fault the food one bit, some of the dishes/drinks played tricks with your senses too, I really enjoyed the sherbert fountain with liquorice ice cream. Had a good chat with David and the team and we both loved the ethos and style of the restaurant. There wasn't an ounce of snobbishness here, you could wear shorts and a T-Shirt and feel comfortable, equally, you could get dressed up and also not feel over dressed due to the superb way in which they've styled the place. Would I recommend this place to friends, 100%. Would I visit again, absolutely, we are planning to go back later in the year. I would also highly recommend buying the cook book, it's one of the best books we have at home and gives you some great starting blocks to create your own dishes. Keep up the great work team"

"We had an exceptional dining experience at the charming Lanes of Lymington. As frequent travelers and diners, finding suitable food can be a challenge for us as one of us is vegetarian and the other is pescatarian. However, we were both thoroughly satisfied with our meals. Everything was flawless - the dishes were hot, delicious, and beautifully plated, the service was impeccable, and the ambiance of the restaurant, housed in a stunning old church, was truly special. If you are looking for a unique and exceptional dining spot, look no further than this gem. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant without hesitation. The vegetarian risotto and rich seafood gratin were highlights, and the salad and dessert were not only delicious but also beautifully presented. "lunch for three was fabulous today. after a busy morning in the salon next door we chose the adjacent restaurant for part on price, locality and on recommendation of the salon staff. we were not disappointed. we chose from the lunch menu tapas and each had four dishes, all delicious and cooked for perfection. also choose the bananenfritter as sweet, divine! we have already planned a return plan in the near future."

"Loved it!! Second time I’ve been and first time I’ve eaten. It’s a sort of wine bar/gin bar/tapasy place staff are knowledgeable, keen and attentive without being in your face the drinks menu is extensive, but they will guide you through. Started with drinks on the green during the setting sun then moved inside to eat. Food was faultless ham and cheese croquettes and the calamari were my favourite but everything was good even the falafels (not normally my thing) were tasty. Will be back for sure"

"Very good Greek food in a cozy small restaurant (about 12 tables , located in a strip mall on Applegate Rd. After Taverna Ouzo closed its doors (coincidentally, it was located on the same Applegate Rd. quite a few years ago, there weren 't any authentic Greek restaurants in the area, so we are happy with our new finding. Faros (apparently, owned, managed, and served by people of Greek descent serves fully authentic and deliciously prepared Greek cuisine. The menu is extensive, there is a variety of choices for every taste and like. The food is fresh, the grilled dishes are thoroughly prepared to perfection. The hot appetizers platter Zesta pikilia tis pareas (assortment of tiropitakia, keftedakia, dolmadakia, spanakopitakia, and gigantes is ideal for two people and is offered for a budget friendly price of $20.5. The main courses, both traditional Greek specialties, souvlaki, and gyro platters are on the bigger side, definitely guaranteeing a need for box it up, please . The overall pricing is in today 's day and age certainly decent. Undoubtedly, highly recommended."
