"The restaurant and setting are stunning the service and food not so, out with friends for dinner last Saturday 17/02/24 and we felt a little rushed by two of the team especially towards the end of the evening 10.30 or so when one waitress in particular made a point of clearing the table and returning on several occasions asking if there was anything else we wanted, Cleary not as we had paid the bill and were finishing drinks and didn't need to be asked the same question three times in 15 minutes! The food was ok! I had burger and fries, all not very exciting and my wife had fish pie which seemed to have the same temperature as the sun and was inedible for some 5 minutes or so, not a lot of fish going on in said pie but was tasty by all accounts. Would we go back........Probably not but maybe for drinks if we were passing and needed a drink. Bill came to £150 or so for the four of us with drinks."

"My mate and I met at the pub for a quiet lunchtime beer and chat..it was great to see him as we had not seen each other for years and need to catch up on news... All we got was pressure and hassle from the...staff. We had our beers..two minutes later one staff member arrived asking if we needed more drinks??..No thank you...Two minutes later another staff member arrived..You gents ok??..Can I get you more drinks??....Our beer was barely touched..No thank you we are fine.. Two minutes later another staff member arrived ...Can I get you more drinks?? Then a young man arrived..Are you gents dining with us??.. we had not planned to eat, just have a beer .. Do you have sandwiches??...No we don't was the answer. Five minutes later another question if we had ordered food??.. Different staff member arrived time after time, every few minutes to ask if we needed more drinks or if we were ordering food... We ordered food we didn't want...It was nothing special..Usual pub food that is quickly forgettable..Not great food..mediocre. Only then did the hassle stop and we were left alone to have a chat. I know there is not much profit in beer...Pubs make their money on food. But the restaurant area was not busy...We were not sat in the restaurant dining area..The table was not made up with cutlery ready for diners..No further customers were sat in our area...The table was NOT required for diners. IT IS A PUB!!...People to go pubs to drink beer and spirits, read a book, chat to other folk, play cards, read a newspaper...It a place of social gathering. All we got was hassle and pressure. I do not often write reviews..Far less write a poor report..I much prefer to give praise and say things were excellent. We shall NOT return.. Incidentally, I do know and like good food..The previous evening I dined in a pub where the chef was a past winner of the TV programme MasterChef ...However, this pub food was mediocre..."

"badly started when the menus we were given no similarity to what published on their website as an example menu that traveled 200 miles to be there was what we posted our booking on! what we ordered and arrived...was also very bad in terms of the total proportions of sizes, quality of food and its presentation, which was obviously not the one of the right cooks. service was bad, we had to pour both our water and wine, no brot or bun at all, but especially with suppe and crabs. all small portions and genrally not enough food. we also saw other diners in the restaurant as impressing with their appetizers and meal after that we gave up and decided not to throw more good money after bad deserts and coffees, instead of driving to the local kfc to eat something. we noticed how disappointed we were with the owners on the way, but there were answers very well tried. will not have been coming back or going back there"

"Very nice, shame this was at a holiday destination otherwise it might be a regular visit. Prices were on the higher side, more than an equivalent Chinese or Indian takeaway IMO, but I find all Thai restaurant/takeaways are so this was no different to others, just say that to bear in mind. Hopefully the 5* review says it all"

"Very good Greek food in a cozy small restaurant (about 12 tables , located in a strip mall on Applegate Rd. After Taverna Ouzo closed its doors (coincidentally, it was located on the same Applegate Rd. quite a few years ago, there weren 't any authentic Greek restaurants in the area, so we are happy with our new finding. Faros (apparently, owned, managed, and served by people of Greek descent serves fully authentic and deliciously prepared Greek cuisine. The menu is extensive, there is a variety of choices for every taste and like. The food is fresh, the grilled dishes are thoroughly prepared to perfection. The hot appetizers platter Zesta pikilia tis pareas (assortment of tiropitakia, keftedakia, dolmadakia, spanakopitakia, and gigantes is ideal for two people and is offered for a budget friendly price of $20.5. The main courses, both traditional Greek specialties, souvlaki, and gyro platters are on the bigger side, definitely guaranteeing a need for box it up, please . The overall pricing is in today 's day and age certainly decent. Undoubtedly, highly recommended."
