This pub is exactly how a pub should be. I absolutely loved it, with its friendly staff and excellent service. The atmosphere was top-notch, receiving a 5-star rating from me.

A really nice pub that is rarely open. A shame. If I had moved to live in Winster I would have been very disappointed. But if you find it open? Lucky you! Price per person: £10–20

One of the nicest pubs I've ever been in. Very friendly and courteous staff, great beer and a warm, relaxed atmosphere. Excellent takeaway food as well good quality and price. Hope I get to go there again!

This is one of the best rural pubs that caters to locals. David and Marylin are very welcoming and friendly. The pints are great with perfect foam and reasonably priced. They don't serve full meals, but their authentic Cornish pies in baskets are delicious. Overall, the food, service, and atmosphere all receive a perfect score of 5.

We were thrilled to order a takeaway meal on a Saturday evening during our latest visit to Winster. The food was just as delicious as always, flavorful and served hot. We had a pleasant time chatting with other patrons in the bar before picking up our food, and it was nice to see the pub still bustling and well-liked. Thanks to David and Marilyn for a great experience. We'll definitely be back!

I had an amazing discovery in Winster! The staff was friendly and provided excellent service. I stopped by for a drink and also tried their Cornish pasty, which was absolutely delicious. The restaurant has a large car park in the back and tables and chairs set up outside on a peaceful street. They even have a real fire for those cold days. There is a community-run shop just a few minutes walk away as well.

This is one of two pubs in the village with limited opening hours and a limited menu. Although we did not eat here, we enjoyed the Farmers blonde real ale that was well kept. There was one other real ale available. The atmosphere was a bit disappointing considering the pub's location in the village. It felt like something was missing and it should have been more lively. The price per person ranged from £1 to £10. The service was rated 4 out of 5 and the atmosphere was rated 2 out of 5.

We enjoyed another visit to our favorite village, Winster, where we pre-ordered a takeaway Sunday lunch. The meal was easy to pick up and absolutely delicious. We savored piping hot pork roasts followed by a delectable syrup sponge with custard. The pub itself is cozy and inviting, perfect for stopping in for a drink. David and Marilyn are wonderful hosts, always offering a warm welcome. Keep in mind that the restaurant only offers takeaway meals and is open for drinks on certain days, so be sure to check the website for details. We can't wait to return!
